Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to sufficiently wash the main components of a wheeled chair without impairing the grease of axle portions with ultrasonic washing water by constituting the wheeled chair in such a manner that the axle grease portions are not immersed in the ultrasonic washing water when the wheeled chair is washed by the ultrasonic washing water. SOLUTION: The wheeled chair 101 is inclined and fixed in a wheeled chair washing machine 100 formed to a bathtub shape. The posture of the wheeled chair 101 is determined by wheel holding rollers 1 and is so held that the heights of the front wheel of the wheeled chair 101 and the axles 104 of main wheels are made equal to each other. A washing liquid 2 is injected into the wheeled chair washing machine 100 so as to be lower in water level than the height of the axles 104 and vibration is imparted thereto from an ultrasonic generator 3. As a result, the portions of the wheeled chair 101 immersed into the washing liquid 2 are washed. The wheels are washed while the wheels are held by wheel holding rollers 1. When the wheeled chair 101 is immersed into the washing water by pulling and shifting down its grips 4, the washing of the grips 4, a back rest 5 and a seat 105 is made possible.

2. Description of the Related Art As the aging society progresses, the number of elderly people who have weak legs and difficult walking is increasing. Wheelchairs are an important means of transportation for patients with difficulty walking, such as the elderly, injured and sick. As elderly people and patients tend to spend more time sitting in wheelchairs, keeping the wheelchairs clean has become a major issue. Since it is a difficult task to clean food and drinks in the gaps between seats and sweat and excrement stick to the seats and frames of the wheelchair, development of a wheelchair washer has been desired. As a technical disclosure of a wheelchair washer, see WHEE of US Pat. No. 5,133,375.

According to the wheelchair washer of the present invention, in addition to cleaning the wheelchair with the ultrasonic cleaning water, since the axle grease portion is not immersed in the ultrasonic cleaning water, the wheelchair is sufficiently stained during the wheelchair cleaning. Dropping and retaining axle grease can be achieved at the same time. The axle part cannot be washed with the ultrasonic cleaning water, but even in a new wheelchair that is not soiled, this axle part is a part where grease is originally attached and there is a concern that a patient or a nurse may be stained. Since the structure has been devised so as not to touch, the clothes of patients and nurses do not become dirty and the running floor surface does not become dirty due to inability to wash. When the washing water is electrolyzed water, dirt on a wheelchair can be cleaned by alkaline water or acidic water generated by electrolysis of water. If a device for electrolyzing water is provided, there is no need to purchase and store the cleaning liquid, and the cleaning liquid can be freely selected according to the type of dirt by an electrical operation that is easily automated. For example, it is possible to selectively use alkaline ionized water for protein-based stains and acidic ionized water for metal surface stains. When the wheelchair is fixed such that the seat is positioned below the axle grease portion, the seat can be sufficiently cleaned with the cleaning liquid. When controlling the level of the ultrasonic cleaning water by controlling the volume of the air bag immersed in the ultrasonic cleaning water, controlling the volume of the air bag according to the degree of air supply to the air bag. Can control the water level of the cleaning liquid. The sum of the volume of the stored cleaning liquid and the volume of the air bag submerged in the cleaning liquid is the effective cleaning liquid volume.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment corresponding to claim 1 of the present invention. Wheelchair 101 is a wheelchair washer 1 in the shape of a bathtub
It is tilted and fixed as shown in the figure during 00. The posture of the wheelchair is determined by the wheelchair holding roller 1. When the front wheels and the main wheels are held so that the heights of the axles 104 are equal, an inclined posture as shown in the figure is obtained. The wheelchair washer is filled with the oily detergent 2 so that the water level is lower than the axle height, and is vibrated by the ultrasonic generator 3. When this state is maintained, the dirt on the part immersed in the cleaning liquid is lifted and removed. Since the wheelchair holding roller is a rotary long rod, the front wheel and the main wheel mounted thereon can rotate, respectively. Maintaining the wheelchair in the cleaning solution while rotating the wheel cleans the entire wheel. When the grip 4 of the wheelchair is pulled down and immersed in the cleaning liquid, the grip, the backrest 5, and the seat 105 of the seat can be cleaned in the cleaning liquid. As described above, in the wheelchair washer of FIG. 1, the main part of the wheelchair can be cleaned by rotating the wheel of the wheelchair or changing the posture while keeping the axle from being immersed in the cleaning liquid.
