2. Description of the Related Art A folding chair in which a front leg frame and a rear leg frame are assembled in a human shape and the legs are opened and closed in accordance with the rotation of the seat,
The seat itself controls the opening and closing of the front and rear leg frames. For example, to make a folded and unusable chair usable, a pivot point with the front leg frame is used as a fulcrum. This is done by pressing down on the front edge of the seat, opening the rear leg frame rearward by this depression, and opening the leg in a human shape. At this time, the seat that has been pushed down is horizontally supported by the legs before and after the leg is opened, and is in a usable state, and the seat is restrained from being closed by the seat and is stabilized.

In use, the folding chair is constructed as shown in FIGS.
Is opened in the shape of a human character, and the seat 3 is also tilted horizontally to enable seating. At this time, as shown in FIG. 4, the rear leg frame 2 pushes the connecting rod 9 of the connecting male member 8 deeply into the opening at the upper end of the rear leg 2b and directly abuts on the connecting male member 10, so that the front leg 1
The pivot 3 is kept closest to the pivot portion, that is, the pivot pin 11, to prevent further opening of the leg, and the seat 3 is held horizontally in a stable state.

Next, when the legs are folded and closed, the front edge of the seat 3 is lifted, and the pivot pin 5 with the front leg 1b is flipped up to the fulcrum, so that the rear leg 2b is rotated with the rotation of the seat. The pin 11 is rotated about the fulcrum, and is simultaneously folded while pulling out the connecting rod 9 from the connecting female member 10 in the upper end opening. And when the seat 3 jumped up is aligned with the front leg 1b, the rear leg 2
b is also aligned with the front leg 1b from behind, so that the three members are aligned in parallel and folded flat. At this time, the front leg 1b enters the inside of the rear leg 2b, faces the space holding member 7 and comes into contact therewith, so that further rotation is stopped.

At the time of the above-mentioned folding, the connecting rod 9 is pulled out from the through hole 16 of the female member 10. At this time, the connecting rod 9 is strongly sandwiched by the two divided pieces 10a, 10a, and these are combined. Since the resin is formed of a material, the connecting rod 9 is pulled out slowly due to frictional resistance, abrupt sliding movement is prevented, and the front and rear legs 1b and 2b are slowly closed. . Of course,
When the connecting rod 9 is inserted into the through-hole 16 as opposed to the drawer, this resistance also occurs, which slows down the movement.

The dashed line in FIG. 10 shows the front leg 1 b before contacting the spacing metal fitting 7, and the two-dot chain line shows a state in which the front leg 1 b rides on the raised portion 23 of the elastic locking plate 22. At this time, the front leg 1b once spreads out by using the flexibility of the pipe material and rides on the raised portion 23. When the folding further proceeds from this state, as shown by the solid line, the front leg 1b climbs over the raised portion 23 and abuts against the plate portion 22b covering the base end of the spacing metal fitting 7, and stops at this position. At this point, the folding is completed.

In rubbing the front leg 1b and the space-holding metal member 7, when the bumper 23 comes into contact with the raised portion 23, the front leg 1b and the spacing member 7 are crushed by utilizing the elasticity of the front leg 1b. In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 10, the distance between the outwardly facing surfaces of the pivotally attached pieces 7a, 7a of the left and right spacing metal fittings 7, 7, which are pivotally attached to the both side edges of the seat 3, is increased. Since the distance between the inner side surfaces of the front legs 1b, 1b is substantially equal, the left and right front legs 1b, 1b are pushed out by the thickness of the elastic locking plate 22 during this rubbing. The friction of the rubbing is increased, and the engagement between the two is strengthened.

Therefore, the front leg 1b that has passed over the raised portion 23
In this case, any return can be stopped by restoring the raised portion, or in this case, the front leg 1b is prevented from separating from the spacing metal fitting 7 by the frictional force of rubbing between the front leg 1b and the elastic locking plate 22. The legs before and after will be able to stop being opened without permission.

In the embodiment, the inner surface of the front leg 1b is slidably contacted with the pivoting piece 7a via the elastic locking plate 22 using the L-shaped spacer 7 so as to be locked. However, instead of this, for example, the spacing metal fitting is formed in a U-shape, one of which is a pivot piece, and the other piece is a mounting piece for the rear leg 2b, and the front leg 1b is inserted between the U-shaped metal fittings. The present invention can also be implemented by sliding the side surface of the front leg 1b into frictional engagement with either of the two pieces.

As described above with reference to the embodiments, the folding chair according to the present invention, when opening and closing the front and rear legs frames, the frictional resistance means rubs the seat and the legs or the legs together, and the rapid rotation is achieved. It can be completely operated and handled because it avoids opening and closing, and when the legs are closed and folded,
Since the frictional resistance means refuse to open the legs arbitrarily, it does not open freely when carrying or storing and does not hinder the work, so that it can be handled safely and extremely conveniently.
