【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 車両に搭載される1台の光源装置と、入
射端と出射端をそれぞれ有する第1導光材及び第2導光
材の2本の導光材とを備え、 前記光源装置は、中空形状のケーシングと、前記ケーシ
ングの内面にそれぞれ設けられた第1反射面及び第2反
射面と、前記ケーシング内に配置された1個の光源と、
前記第1反射面及び前記第2反射面に設けられた第2投
光口及び第1投光口とから構成されてなるものであり、 前記第1導光材及び第2導光材は、前記入射端が前記第
1投光口及び第2投光口にそれぞれ接続されており、前
記1個の光源からの光であって前記第1反射面及び前記
第2反射面で反射された光を前記第1投光口及び前記第
2投光口を経て前記入射端に入射させ、その入射させた
光を導いて前記出射端から出射させるものである、 車両用前照灯装置において、 前記第1導光材及び前記第2導光材は、水平方向に広範
囲に照射する配光パターンとその配光パターンのほぼ中
央部の高照度のホットゾーンとが同時に形成されるため
に、断面ほぼ楕円形状をなす、 ことを特徴とする車両用前照灯装置。
