Abstract

The invention discloses high fat acids methyl esters utilization, that is, fat acids monomethylesters with a carbon chain as of 12 carbon atoms, for example, from colza oil methyl ester, as the only solvent or solvent component for individual components or both components of casting molded semi-product binder system over polyurethane base, the components of which comprise a phenol resin containing free OH groups and a polycyanate as reactive. The fat acid methyl esters can be at the same time the only solvent, it can also be employed, at least for the polyisocyanate, together with aromatic hydrocarbons of high boiling point (wherein fat acid methyl esters moiety in solvent must then predominate over hydrocarbons moiety), and can be employed, at least for the phenol resin, under addition of high polarity solvents. Thanks to fat acid methylc esters utilization, there are outstanding advantages. Specially, we can do without the whole or part of the adding, which until now had always been indispensable, of high boiling point aromatic hydrocarbons
