Abstract
Universal map display system, in particular for visualistion, on an appropriate map background of an object whose position is identified using any coordinate system Universal mapping display system, allowing in particular the display of an object identified in any coordinates( UTM or geographic coordinates) on an appropriate map background The invention concerns the display of such objects on a map background on an approximately flat surface such as that of a cathode – ray screen tube The objective is to provide a completely universal mapping display system usable on a computer, this objective is achieved by a system including the meand of Memorization (44) of the map backgrounds Attribution (42.43) of universal coordinates to the objects located Initialization (45) of the display of the points superimposed on an appropriate map background Conversaion (46) of the universal coordinate of each of the points into Cartesian coordinates used by said map background
