Description

Titolo: “CASSA MONOPEZZO PIEGHEVOLE RINFORZATA” Title: "REINFORCED FOLDING SINGLE-PIECE CASE"

** ;; FIELD OF APPLICATION; The present invention relates to a one-piece foldable, reinforced crate for packaging, transport and storage of products in general, particularly in the fruit and vegetable and industrial sector, said crate possessing advantageous characteristics of resistance, stability, ease of stacking, and simplicity of assembly. The present invention is advantageously applied in the sector of transport, storage and sale of fruit and vegetables or other goods in the food sector and in large-scale distribution in general, even in the industrial sector. ;;; STATE OF THE ART; The state of the art has long been aware of crates made entirely of corrugated cardboard and / or composite materials for containing fruit and / or vegetables. ; The crates in corrugated cardboard and / or composite materials, although widely used in the fruit and vegetable sector but also in other sectors not exclusively food, have typical drawbacks which generally refer to the fact that they require a realization with a considerable waste of raw material, with consistent portions of cardboard which is excluded as scrap, in order to obtain reinforced corners especially in correspondence with the minor side faces or the major side faces of the case in question. This condition often leads to the creation of crates without lateral and horizontal support elements, in jargon called sidewalks or in any case equipped with side edges of uniform height to avoid considerable waste of cardboard and / or other composite materials. Another drawback is represented by the fact that often a case made of cardboard and / or composite materials is difficult to assemble as it is normally supplied flat on itself. In the same way, once unloaded, the crates made of corrugated cardboard and / or composite materials known in the art can also be painstakingly folded into a flattened position of reduced overall dimensions necessary to be able to easily store them for subsequent reuse or for recycling operations or for their destruction. ;;; DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION; The present invention aims to obviate the drawbacks and disadvantages typical of the known art, and therefore to provide a one-piece crate with reinforced corners, advantageously for fruit and vegetable products, capable of guaranteeing a stable stacking of the these crates during transport and / or storage in the warehouse. The invention further proposes to provide a one-piece box with reinforced corners of predeterminable height. Another object of the present invention is to provide a one-piece box with reinforced corners which can be assembled quickly by means of a very simple operation by personnel assigned to load the box itself. Not least object of the present invention is to provide a one-piece crate with reinforced corners which can be easily constructed requiring the minimum of raw material indispensable in order to contain construction costs and is economically advantageous. This is achieved by means of a one-piece case with reinforced corners having the characteristics described in the main claim. The dependent claims outline advantageous embodiments of the invention. The box according to the invention consists of a structure that can be folded along preformed folding lines, entirely made of corrugated cardboard and / or composite materials, with elements suitable for a solid support for loads perpendicular to the bottom of the box itself. According to the invention, each lateral element has a respective support, in the jargon called "sidewalk". The case thus assembled brilliantly solves the typical problems of the known art. In fact, being made up in a single piece, it requires a minimum expenditure of light corrugated cardboard while ensuring adequate resistance to cutting stresses thanks to the mechanical characteristics of the corrugated cardboard materials and / or composite materials. ; This one-piece box with reinforced corners has considerable rigidity and solidity in the vertical direction, thus being able to be easily and solidly mounted and stacked on other similar boxes, while maintaining a good foldability on itself until it flattens, occupying a volume equal to a fraction of that of the assembled and open case. According to the present invention, the structure comprises a base surface which constitutes the bottom of the case in question, and two side surfaces at opposite angles. Each of the lateral elements has a lower tongue and an upper tongue that can be installed in corresponding slots affecting the bottom of the box and the sidewalk respectively. ; In compliance with the rules established by the European federation of corrugated cardboard manufacturers, the sidewalk may be present either on the length or height of the case in question. ;;; ILLUSTRATION OF THE DRAWINGS; Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will become evident upon reading the following description of an embodiment of the invention, provided by way of non-limiting example, with the aid of the drawings illustrated in the attached table, in which Figure 1 illustrates a plan view of an open box structure; - figure 2 represents the schematic view of the case being assembled. DESCRIPTION OF AN EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION In the figures, a one-piece box is generally indicated with 10, in the present case a box is highlighted comprising a structure with reinforced corners which can be folded along pre-formed folding lines indicated with 11 in the form of a hatch, entirely made of corrugated cardboard or composite materials. ; On the other hand, 12 indicates the whole lines that represent the lines of the cutting knives. ; Characteristic of the invention is given by the fact that in correspondence of the shorter sides there are double folding flaps consisting of a first median flap 13 and a second external flap 14.; In turn, the external flap 14 comprises lateral tabs 15 and 16 which are divided by side walls 17 of variable or pre-settable width, which, when installed, represent the actual internal corner reinforcement sectors of the box. ; Another feature of the invention is dated by the fact that the lateral tabs 15 and 16 are divided by folding lines 18 from angular sectors 19 which have a notch 20 placed along a fold line 21 arranged at 45 °. ; The external flaps 14 are provided with teeth 22 that fit into corresponding slots 23 placed on opposite edges of the central plane provided with notches 23 'which give it elasticity. Said teeth have a height equal to the thickness of the material used. ; The side tongues 15 and 16 are also provided with further notches 24, which are housed by the same slots 23, whose dimension is therefore calculated double to allow the teeth 22 and 24 to enter; Finally, further slots 25 are provided which are made along the fold lines indicated with 21, inclined at 45 °. ; From the constructive point of view, to assemble the box it is sufficient to fold the external flaps 14 on the median flaps 13 which in turn are folded vertically with respect to the central plane, and at the same time the lateral shoulders 26 are raised. lateral tongues 15 and 16 fold inwards allowing the teeth 24 to penetrate the slits 23.; The lateral walls 17, when installed, represent the real internal corner reinforcement sectors of the box and for this purpose they flex 45 ° on their bending lines 11 resting on the side shoulders 26.; In the assembly phase, the corner sectors 19 are arranged vertically, allowing the bending lines 21 to be arranged inwards and the notches 20 to remain included in the reinforcement side walls 17, to be kept closed by them. ; Such a case according to the innovation, is therefore characterized by the speed of assembly, even by hand, and above all by a considerable resistance to compression once assembled. The compressive strength is conferred by the side walls 17 which, when installed, represent, as mentioned, the actual internal corner reinforcement sectors of the box. In addition, the case according to the innovation provides for the possible use of materials with weights lower than the current ones with the same mechanical tests. ; According to the innovation, the crate provides that the scraps are those necessary for putting into the machine. Furthermore, the volume is equal to the initial material spread. According to the solution in question, a clear reduction in costs is obtained in the entire supply chain compared to traditional ones and manual assembly is equal to assembly by machine. ; The solution in question allows the exclusion from the use of paraffins, as well as the exclusion from the use of glues for assembly. ; The product conceived in this way can be built by any converting company. The joints allow a resistance to "torsion" equal to the competitors glued. ; It is clear that the invention is susceptible to a plurality of variants, within the context of technical equivalences. *
