Con l'applicazione si forma una pellicola uniforme che si attacca ai peli. Si procede quindi a strappare la pellicola tal quale o mediante l'uso di una striscia in tessuto non tessuto, cellophan, tessuto o altro materiali idoneo, ottenendo l'asportazione dei peli annegati nella pellicola formata dalla cera.
