Come è noto le catene a scopo ornamentale, utilizzate per realizzare, per esempio, collane, bracciali, schiave, ecc., devono possedere la caratteristica di poter essere chiuse ed aperte con semplicità, a seconda delle esigenze dell'utente. Generalmente queste chiusure presentano almeno un mezzo elastico che consente e favorisce queste manovre; nella maggior parte dei casi queste chiusure sono conformate ad anello o a moschettone. Scopo del presente modello è quello di realizzare una chiusura per catena a scopo ornamentale che risulti intrinsecamente semplice dal punto di vista costruttivo, oltre che risultare semplice ed efficace anche dal punto di vista funzionale.
