DESCRIPTION

The present invention relates to a support device, particularly for a panel of a retractable sliding door that can be attached to the ceiling.

Nowadays it is known to produce door and window frames which provide for the use of a counterframe, positioned inside a wall, within which a door or a panel is slidingly associated, which is also referred to as a "retractable door".

This solution allows to reduce the dimensions of the door inside a room thanks to the possibility of sliding it inside the counter frame: it is thus possible to use the space adjacent to the door which would instead be occupied by doors of the type hinged laterally to a cassamatta.

Trolleys are slidingly associated within a track and are constrained to the upper edge of the door to allow it to slide in and out of the counter frame.

A drawback that can be found in this known technique consists in the fact that it is not possible to position the panel very close to the track or the ceiling, so there are lights which must be covered with frames which are unsightly and which structurally weigh down and increase the cost of the entire structure.

Furthermore, as the distance between the panel and the track increases, the play between the various components also increases, with the possibility that the panel is subject to lifting and oscillations which jeopardize its correct functioning.

The main aim of the subject matter of the present invention is therefore to solve the technical problems highlighted, eliminating the drawbacks of the cited known art and therefore devising an invention which allows to fix a sliding door panel as close as possible to a track. or to the ceiling.

Within the scope of the above aim, another important object is to provide an invention which allows to maintain the panel associated with the track in a stable and safe manner.

The aforementioned task and purposes, as well as others which will appear more clearly later, are achieved by a support device (1), particularly for a panel (2) of a retractable sliding door or one that can be attached to the ceiling, which is characterized by its consisting of a bracket (3), which can be associated with a drain (4) obtained longitudinally to the first upper surface (5) of said panel (2) in proximity to one of its lateral surfaces (6), to which a first square head (13) of a first screw (14) which can be associated with a carriage (11) for the sliding of said door or with a ceiling support, said first head (13) interacting with a stop (17) associated with said bracket (3) and with means suitable for eliminating the tolerance between said first head (13) and bracket (3) comprising a pin (18), there being means for locking the position of said pin (18) with respect to said bracket ( 3).

Further characteristics and advantages of the invention will become clearer from the detailed description of a particular, but not exclusive, embodiment, illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the attached drawings, in which:

In the following embodiments, single characteristics, reported in relation to specific examples, can actually be interchanged with other different characteristics, existing in other embodiments.

Furthermore, it should be noted that everything that in the course of the procedure for obtaining the patent turns out to be already known, is intended not to be claimed and the subject of an excerpt (disclaimer) from the claims.

With reference to the aforementioned figures, the number (1) indicates a support device, particularly for a panel (2) of a retractable sliding door or one that can be attached to the ceiling.

The device (1) consists of a bracket (3) which can be associated, by means of suitable means such as screws, in correspondence with a drain (4) obtained longitudinally from the first upper surface (5) of said panel (2) in proximity of one of its lateral surfaces

(6) - Said bracket (3) has a desired length and is positioned in said outlet (4) so as to place one of its ends (3a) substantially flush with said lateral surface (6) of said panel (2).

The bracket (3) has, in a cross section, an Ω (omega) conformation to define a base (7), of a width substantially equal to that of the drain (4), from which two wings (8a, 8b) branch off vertically , having a height slightly lower than the depth of said drain (4), followed by two first appendages (9a, 9b) which are arranged parallel to said base (7) for part of the width of said drain (4).

A channel (10) facing the ceiling or towards a suitable carriage (11) slidingly associated with a suitable track (12) is thus defined.

The first square head (13) of a first screw (14) whose first threaded stem (15) can be associated with said carriage (11) is slidingly associable within the channel (10) to achieve the sliding of said panel (2) of said door or to the carriage (11) or to the ceiling.

One of the second side surfaces (16a, 16b) of said first head (13), particularly (16a) facing away from the side surface (6) of said panel (2), is interacting with a stop (17) consisting of a strip formed, for example by blanking, on said base (7) of said bracket (3) and partially protrudes from it in the direction of said carriage (12); this stop (17) prevents the axial displacement of said first head (13) within said bracket (3) beyond a certain predetermined position.

The stop (17) can also consist of a boss cut in half, as illustrated in figures 4, 5 and 6; this boss has the shape substantially of a quarter of a sphere and results in defining a very sturdy stop.

The second lateral surface (16b) of said first head (13) facing the lateral surface (6) of said panel (2), instead interacts with a pin (18), substantially parallelepiped in shape, able to eliminate the tolerance between said first head (13) and bracket (3).

The pin (18) is slidably and axially insertable within the channel (10) of said bracket (3); the pin (18) has substantially the same width and height as said channel (10) and a length equal to the distance between the end (3a) of said bracket (3) and said stop (17).

The pin (18) has means suitable for eliminating the tolerance between said first head (13) and bracket (3), said means being constituted by a second appendix (19) projecting at one end of said pin (18) facing towards said stop (17) and interacting with it, said appendix having a thickness less than that of said pin (18) itself and lying on a plane adjacent to said base (7) of said bracket (3).

The second appendix (19) can be positioned below the first head (13) and is able to push said first head (13) upwards, until it interacts abutment with said two first appendages (9a, 9b) of said bracket (3), and to place the step discontinuity (20) which is formed between said second appendix (19) and said pin (18) close to and abutting the second lateral surface (16b) of said first head (13) .

This eliminates the tolerance between the first square head (13) of said screw (4) and the bracket (2), specially designed to slide one element into the other without impediments, thus preventing the panel (2) can rise and therefore oscillate; furthermore, the same screw (4) is locked in a fixed position.

There are also present means for locking the position of said pin (18) with respect to said bracket (3).

On the end of the pin (18) adjacent to the lateral surface (6) of the panel (2) there is in fact obtained a longitudinal notch (21) capable of defining two elastically retractable fins (22a, 22b).

On the lateral surfaces of said fins (22a, 22b) facing towards said two wings (8a, 8b) of said bracket (3) there are teeth (23a, 23b)

obtained on each of said two wings (8a, 8b).

a pin (28); this second stem (27) is able to spread apart the two fins (22a, 22b) until the teeth (23a, 23b) are brought into the holes (24).

The pin (28) has an overall substantially T-shaped conformation defining the second stem (27) and a second head (29), having a square shape.

The second stem (27) has a main body (30), with circular section, whose ends (31a, 31b) have a smaller diameter than the central part (32); there are also present, externally to the main body (30) in correspondence with the lateral surface of the central part (32) and along parallel lines, a pair of lateral fins (33a, 33b) each having a substantially semicircular section.

Each of said lateral fins (33a, 33b) depart at one end from said second head (29) and extend along said second shank (27) for part of its length.

There is also, externally to the main body (30) and in correspondence with the lateral surface of the central part (32) not affected by said lateral fins (33a, 33b), an upper fin (34) having a substantially square section and which starts from one end from said second head (29) and extends along said second shank (27) for part of its length, advantageously by an extent greater than that of said copy of lateral fins (33a, 33b).

In correspondence with the third lateral surfaces (35a, 35b) of the notch (21) obtained in correspondence with the pin (18) there are and protrude a pair of half-cylinders (36a, 36b), facing each other, which are molded as one with the pin (18), whose function is to keep the second stem (27) of said pin (28) parallel to the pin (18) itself and to improve the locking of the latter to the bracket (3).

When the second shank (27) of the pin (28) is positioned in the notch (21), its central part (32), having a larger diameter than that of the ends (31a, 31b), exerts a pressure on the fins (22a, 22b) and then on the teeth (23a, 23b), spreading them apart and making them interact with the holes (24) of the bracket (3).

The particular shape of the second stem (27) of the pin (28), tapered to the free end (31a) facing away from the second head (29), facilitates insertion into the pin (18), while the tapering of the second stem (27) determines, in proximity of the second head (29), a narrowing which allows to obtain the locking of the pin (28) within the pin (18).

The swelling of the central part (32) of the main body (30) of the second stem (27) prevents, due to the presence of the side fins (33a, 33b) and of the upper fin (34), the rotation of the pin (28), contributing further to the blocking of the same.

Figure 11 illustrates a possible different embodiment solution for the pin (28) in which the pairs of side wings (33a, 33b) are not present on the stem (27), but are obtained, externally to the main body (30) and in correspondence of the lateral surface of the central part (32) and according to parallel lines, a pair of flattening which reduce the lateral bulk of the main body (30) and extend along said second shank (27) for part of its length.

It has thus been found that the invention has achieved the intended aim and objects, a device having been devised which, applied to a panel of a sliding door, allows it to be fixed as close as possible to a track or to the ceiling.

Furthermore, the device allows to keep the panel associated in a stable and safe way with the track, preventing it from being subjected to possible lifting or oscillations.

The pin (18) also acts as a cap and therefore as a finish in correspondence with the side surface (6) of the panel (2).

It has also been verified that the particular tapered shape of the second stem (27) of the pin (28) facilitates insertion into the pin (18) and creates a narrowing to achieve the locking of the position of the pin (28).

It has also been found that the swelling of the central part (32) of the central body (30) of the second stem (27), given by the presence of the side wings (33a, 33b) and of the wing (34), prevents rotation of the pin ( 28), further contributing to its locking.

Lastly, the device is structurally simple and has low manufacturing costs.

The invention is naturally susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all of which are within the scope of the same inventive concept.

The materials used, as well as the dimensions that constitute the individual components of the invention, may of course be more pertinent according to specific requirements.

The different means for carrying out certain different functions will certainly not have to coexist only in the illustrated embodiment, but may be present per se in many embodiments, even not illustrated, characteristics indicated as advantageous, convenient or the like, may also be missing or be replaced by equivalent

Claims (12)

CLAIMS 1) Support device (1) particularly for a panel (2) of a retractable sliding door or one that can be attached to the ceiling, which is characterized by the fact that it consists of a bracket (3), which can be associated with a drain (4) obtained longitudinally to the first upper surface (5) of said panel (2) in proximity to one of its lateral surface (6), to which a first square head (13) of a first screw (14) associated with a carriage can be slidably associated (11) for the sliding of said door or to a ceiling support, said first head (13) interacting with a stop (17) associated with said bracket (3) and with means suitable for eliminating the tolerance between said first head (13) ) and bracket (3) comprising a pin (18), being present means for locking the position of said pin (18) with respect to said bracket (3). 2) Device as per claim 1 which is characterized by the fact that said bracket (3) is positioned in said outlet (4) so as to place one of its ends (3a) substantially flush with said side surface (6) of said panel (2), said bracket (3) presenting, in a cross section, an Ω (omega) conformation to define a base (7), of a width substantially equal to that of said outlet (4), from which two wings branch off vertically (8a, 8b), with a height slightly lower than the depth of said drain (4), followed by two first appendages (9a, 9b) which are arranged parallel to said base (7) for part of the width of said drain (4) a defining a channel (10) facing the ceiling or towards a prearranged carriage (11) slidingly associated with a prearranged track (12). 3) Device as per claims 1 and 2 which is characterized by the fact that said first square head (13) of a first screw (14) whose first threaded stem (15) can be slidably associated within said channel (10) , one of the second lateral surfaces (16a, 16b) of said first head (13) can be associated with said trolley (11) to achieve the sliding of said panel (2) of said door or to the trolley (11) or to the ceiling, particularly (16a) facing away from said side surface (6) of said panel (2), is interacting with a stop (17) consisting of a strip formed on said base (7) of said bracket (3) and by it partially protrudes in the direction of said carriage (12), said stop (17) preventing the axial displacement of said first head (13) within said bracket (3) beyond a certain predetermined position. 4) Device as per claims 1 and 3 which is characterized in that said second lateral surface (16b) of said first head (13) facing the lateral surface (6) of said panel (2) interacts with a pin (18 ), substantially parallelepiped in shape, able to eliminate the tolerance between said first head (13) and bracket (3), said pin (18) being slidably and axially insertable within said channel (10) of said bracket (3), said pin (18) having substantially the same width and height as said channel (10) and a length equal to the distance between said end (3a) of said bracket (3) and said stop {11). 5) Device as per claims 1 and 4 which is characterized by the fact that said pin (18) has means able to eliminate the tolerance between said first head (13) and bracket (3), said means being constituted by a second appendix ( 19) projecting at one end of said pin (18) facing towards said stop (17) and interacting with it, said second appendix (19) having a thickness less than that of said pin (18) itself and lying on an adjacent plane to said base (7) of said bracket (3), said second appendix (19) being positioned below said first head (13) and being able to push said first head (13) upwards, until interacting abutment with said two first appendages (9a, 9b) of said bracket (3), and to place the step discontinuity (20) which forms between said second appendix (19) and said pin (18) close to and in support with said second lateral surface (16b) of said first head (13). 6) Device as per claims 1 and 5 which is characterized in that said means for locking the position of said pin (18) with respect to said bracket (3) comprise said pin (18) on the end of which adjacent to said lateral surface ( 6) of said panel (2) a longitudinal notch (21) is obtained which is able to define two elastically retractable fins (22a, 22b), on the lateral surfaces of said fins (22a, 22b) facing towards said two wings (8a, 8b) of said bracket (3) teeth (23a, 23b) being formed which interact with counter-shaped gripping means consisting of seats or holes (24) obtained on each of said two wings (8a, 8b). 7) Device as per claims 1 and 6 which is characterized by the fact that the second stem (27) of a pin (28) can be axially associated in correspondence with said notch (21), said second stem (27) being able to spread the two fins (22a, 22b) until the teeth (23a, 23b) are inside the holes (24). 8) Device as per claims 1 and 3 which is characterized by the fact that said stop (17) consists of a boss cut in half substantially in the shape of a quarter of a sphere. 9) Device according to one or more of the preceding claims which is characterized in that, in correspondence with the third lateral surfaces (35a, 35b) of said notch (21) obtained in correspondence of said pin (18) there are and protrude a pair of half-cylinders (36a, 36b), facing each other, which are molded as one with said pin (18), whose function is to keep said second stem (27) of said pin (28) parallel to said pin ( 18) itself and to improve the locking of the latter to said bracket (3). 10) Device according to one or more of the preceding claims which is characterized in that said pin (28) has an overall substantially T-shaped conformation to define said second stem (27) and a second head (29), having a square shape, said second stem (27) having a main body (30), with circular section, whose ends (31a, 31b) have a smaller diameter than the central part (32), being also present, externally to said main body (30) and in correspondence with the lateral surface of said central part (32) not affected by said lateral fins (33a, 33b), an upper fin (34) having a substantially square section and which starts at one end from said second head (29) and is it extends along said second shank (27) for part of its length, by an entity greater than that of said copy of lateral fins (33a, 33b). 11) Device as per claims 1 and 10 which is characterized by the fact that on said shank (27) of said pin (28) there are, externally to said main body (30) in correspondence with the lateral surface of said central part (32 ) and according to parallel lines, a pair of lateral fins (33a, 33b) each having a substantially semi-circular section, each of said lateral fins (33a, 33b) starting at one end from said second head (29) and extending along said second stem (27) for part of its length. 12) Device as per claims 1 and 10 which is characterized by the fact that on said shank (27) of said pin (28) are present, externally to said main body (30) in correspondence
