Device (1) for dispensing a washing agent, in particular for a dishwashing machine, comprising a body (2) in which a receptacle (3) is defined as a tray, having an opening (4) and suitable for receiving a quantity of washing agent; covering means (5), comprising a first and a second cover portion (5a, 5b) and movable with respect to the body (2), between * a closed position in which the first lid portion (5a) covers the receptacle (4) and the second lid portion (5b) covers a portion of the body (2) adjacent to the receptacle (3), and * an open position in which the first lid portion (5a) uncovers and frees the receptacle (3); the first portion of the lid (5a) being articulated to the body (2) around a first axis (7) essentially parallel to the mouth (4) of the receptacle (3) and translatable along guide means (6) provided in the body ( 2), and being connected to a crank element (5b) in an essentially articulated way around a second axis (9) parallel to said first axis; the crank element (5b) being in turn articulated to the body (2) around a third axis (10) which is parallel to said first and second axis (7, 9); the device (1) being characterized in that said second lid portion (5) is articulated to the first lid portion (5a) around said second axis (9), and is articulated to the support body (2) around to said third axis (10), and constitutes the aforementioned crank element.

2. Delivery device according to claim 1, wherein said third axis (10) is substantially at the same level as the mouth (4) of the receptacle (3).
