Il dispositivo è costituito da una impugnatura anatomica rotante 1, fissata con uno staffaggio 4 sulla circonferenza dello sterzo V o sulle razze R dello stesso, e comprendente un potenziometro 5, o altro organo simile, azionato tramite un pulsante 6, una leva o simile, e atto a determinare, a seguito della rotazione, la variazione di più contatti striscianti 8-9 in modo tale da trasmettere i segnali elettrici ad una centralina elettronica di alimentazione di un motoriduttore a sua volta azionante, tramite un cinematismo, il pedale dell'acceleratore dell'autoveicolo.
