Abstract
Miscele di m- e p-diclorobenzene possono venire separate mediante trattamento di tali miscele in presenza di una combinazione di solventi con una zeolite Pentasil a 20 fino a 250°C, nel qual caso viene prelevato un filtrato arricchito in m-diclorobenzene ed il p-diclorobenzene viene ottenuto mediante estrazione dalla zeolite Pentasil con utilizzazione della stessa combinazione di solventi. Le zeoliti Pentasil possono contenere, come cationi scambiatili, protoni, cationi del primo o secondo gruppo principale del Sistema Periodico (Mendelejew), cationi dei metalli di terre rare oppure una miscela di più di questi. La combinazione di solventi è costituita da almeno due diversi solventi, i quali derivato da due gruppi A e rispettivamente B, dei quali rappresentanti del gruppo A sono benzeni sostituiti con un atomo di alogeno ed uno oppure due altri sostituenti oppure almeno due atomi di alogeno ed eventualmente un altro sostituente, ed i rappresentanti del gruppo B sono benzeni sostituiti con soltanto un atomo di alogeno ed eventualmente un altro sostituente. Per i rappresentanti del gruppo A, sono eccettuati il 4-clorotoluene ed i diclorobenzeni.Mixtures of m- and p-dichlorobenzene can be separated by treating these mixtures in the presence of a combination of solvents with a Pentasil zeolite at 20 up to 250 ° C, in which case a filtrate enriched in m-dichlorobenzene and the p -chlorobenzene is obtained by extraction from the Pentasil zeolite using the same combination of solvents. The combination of solvents consists of at least two different solvents, which are derived from two groups A and B respectively, of which representatives of group A are benzenes substituted with a halogen atom and one or two other substituents or at least two halogen atoms and possibly another substituent, and the representatives of group B are benzenes substituted with only one halogen atom and possibly another substituent. For representatives of group A, 4-chlorotoluene and dichlorobenzenes are excluded.
