Il presente trovato si riferisce ad una macchina multiuso per processare prodotti alimentari, un cui tipico impiego si ha nell'ambito di servizi di catering -approvvigionamento alimentare- ad ospedali, ristoranti, alberghi, e nelle industrie alimentari. E' noto che alcuni prodotti alimentari vengono sottoposti a processi a umido, durante i quali è opportuno mantenere i prodotti in agitazione per favorire l'azione dell'acqua, oppure per impedire che gli stessi si appiccichino l'uno all'altro . Altro scopo del trovato è quello di rendere disponibile una macchina polivalente che è atta a mantenere rimescolato il prodotto in lavorazione in modo più delicato ed omogeneo, senza ricircolo di acqua. In particolare la macchina in parola comprende una vasca fissa sostanzialmente semicilindrica e ad asse orizzontale per il contenimento dell'acqua di cottura (o lavaggio); un cestello forato mobile sostanzialmente semicilindrico per il contenimento del prodotto da cuocere (o lavare), che è atto ad oscillare tra una posizione abbassata di lavoro in cui è accolto entro la vasca, con cui definisce una intercapedine, ed una posizione sollevata di scarico in cui è estratto dalla vasca; e mezzi atti a mantenere rimescolato il prodotto in lavorazione. Multi-purpose machine for conditioning food products, typically for cooking pasta and rice, and for washing vegetables, comprising a substantially semi-cylindrical fixed tank (1) with a horizontal axis for containing the cooking (or washing) water; a substantially semi-cylindrical movable perforated basket (5) for containing the product to be cooked (or washed), which is able to oscillate between a lowered working position in which it is received within the tank, with which it defines a cavity, and a position raised drain where it is extracted from the tub; and means for keeping the product being processed mixed, characterized in that said means consist of a pneumatic system (7) which is connected upstream to an external supply source of compressed air, and downstream presents a diffuser which is placed according to a generator of the basket, and tangentially to it.

2 . Machine according to claim 1, characterized in that said source of compressed air is constituted by an impeller driven by a variable speed electric motor.

Machine according to claim 1, characterized in that the impeller delivery duct is intercepted by a non-return valve, and the same duct is inserted into the lower central part of the tank, beyond whose wall there is a discharge mouth which is adapted to connect with the diffuser of the basket when the latter occupies the said working position.

Machine according to claim 1, characterized in that said diffuser comprises a narrow and elongated manifold which is placed outside the basket, and parallel to its generators, which on one side has a central orifice for the inlet of the air which is adapted to couple with said discharge mouth, and on the other hand is provided with a narrow, fully developed dispensing port.

Machine according to claim 4, characterized in that said opening is made available by a cut which is made on a blind part of the basket wall, and whose edge located on the lower generatrix side of the basket is free or bare, while the opposite one is equipped with a fully developed deflector lip which is slightly inclined towards the inside of the basket, and which exceeds said free edge.
