TITOLO: AIRCOAT
RIASSUNTO: precedentemente l’isolamento termico e la coibentazione degli edifici veniva effettuata attraverso la posa a diretto contatto di differenti strati di materiale isolante.
DESCRIZIONE: Il sistema Aircoat, applicato con lo stesso principio di cui sopra è dotato di una sua peculiare struttura alveolare a cellula aperta che applicata a diretto contatto con la lastra di finitura superficiale in gres laminato consente di realizzare all'interno del sandwich strutturale una intercapedine d'aria generante un effetto camino in grado di provocare un moto ventilato ascensionale che permette una migliore coibentazione delle pareti oltre che consentire di disperdere il vapore acqueo proveniente dalle murature ed eliminare così la presenza di umidità dalle pareti.
Gli alveoli sono comunicanti fra loro attraverso una fìtta rete di micropori, che oltre ad assicurare una perfetta adesione, per osmosi permettono il trasporto dell'umidità verso gli alveoli più grandi, dai quali viene successivamente vaporizzata.
Per causa dell'aumento della temperatura dell'aria contenuta nello spessore della membrana per effetto dell'irraggiamento solare sulla parete, si verifica un effetto depressurizzante dovuto al principio della convenzione termica (moto convettivo].
Il fenomeno della convezione termica si ha quando un fluido (come l'acqua o l'aria] entra in contatto con un corpo la cui temperatura è maggiore di quella del fluido stesso.
Aumentando di temperatura per conduzione, il fluido a contatto con l'oggetto si espande e diminuisce di densità e a causa della spinta di Archimede sale essendo meno denso del fluido che lo circonda che è più freddo, generando così moti convettivi in cui il fluido caldo sale verso l'alto e quello freddo scende verso il basso.
Questi microvortici, oltre ad isolare termicamente e acusticamente le pareti inspirano vapore permettendo che il prosciugamento si raggiunga anche in presenza di un processo di umidificazione continuo che si verifica anche in muri contro terra e/o con fondamenta immerse nell'acqua e in caso di infiltrazioni di acqua diffusa.

  1. RIVENDICAZIONI: si rivendica l'utilizzazione, in campo edilizio e di ristrutturazione degli edifici, di una struttura alveolare che permetta l’isolamento delle costruzioni tramite un’intercapedine di aria ventilata, al posto dei tradizionali rivestimenti costituiti da materiali isolanti direttamente accoppiati.
