R iv e n d ic a tio n 1. System for fixing an accessory to a vacuum cleaner comprising a rigid tube connected to said accessory and connected at the other end to a handle connected by means of a flexible tube to said vacuum cleaner characterized in that on said rigid tube in proximity of said handle there is a seat adapted to cover a plug with an electric cable which is coupled to a socket obtained on said handle, means being provided for holding said plug and said cable in position.

Fixing system according to claim 1 characterized by the fact that said means comprise a compartment, in which said plug is housed, and a side wall, adapted to hold said plug steady when making the connection with said socket and a guide provided on said tube for housing said cable, a guide being provided at the opposite end of said side wall and tracing the profile obtained on said handle in proximity to said socket.

3. Fixing system according to claim 2 characterized in that said side wall is U-shaped and comes into contact with the part of said plug from which said cable exits to hold said plug in position when it is inserted into said socket.

Fixing system according to claim 2 characterized by the fact that said guide is obtained from said seat on the opposite side of said side wall and goes to couple with a profile obtained on said handle in proximity to said grip, said guide preventing any contact with the pins of said plug by the operator.
