DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
The state of the art for solving the problematic presence of woodworms and parasitic insects, especially in wood, is currently represented by the treatment provided by the so-called microwave oven which, unlike the invention in question, is not based on the forced ventilation system, providing for the direct heating of the object, which must be constantly monitored by the laser thermometer and also by the operator who must continuously move the said object in order to allow the heat from the microwave to expand over the entire surface to be treated. The anti-woodworm treatment by means of a microwave oven has the drawback of treating the object in an aggressive way, subjecting it to a slightly controllable temperature; in fact, between the external surface and the internal parts there are thermal deltas varying from 15 ° C to 20 ° C, which means in practice that a surface temperature of 60 ° C corresponds to an internal temperature of 75 ° C-80 °. C. In most cases, the anti-woodworm treatment using microwaves is used for furniture and / or wooden objects, which react negatively to the very high temperatures therein, showing cracks and distortions. In addition to this the microwaves, determining the acceleration of the shared electrons of the metal, generate an important heating of the treated objects, especially if they have particularly thin metal pieces (eg gilding, silver plating, etc.) which can burn and / or develop sparks if they are there are points and sharp parts (eg nails, clamps, steel springs, etc.) which allow the said electrical charges to be released in the ria. The anti-woodworm treatment using a microwave oven is very expensive, not only due to the high energy consumption but also because it is possible to treat only one or two objects at the same time and in any case, always in the constant presence of an operator, as stated above. The regenerative treatment eliminates woodworms and other parasitic insects by means of a special hot cabin with forced ventilation, object of invention, has the purpose of eliminating destructive parasitic organisms (beetles, isoptera, tisanuri, blattoidei, psychoptera, lepidoptera, menotera etc ..) that interest wooden material (furniture, doors and various objects), paper (books and parchments), upholstery (fabrics, leather, etc.) and also to correct, with the aid of clamping, the characteristic defects of the wood, such as curved surfaces, skewed doors and various distortions, resulting from the passage of time, the action of atmospheric agents and the natural movement of the wood through the use of the appropriate thermal cabin, with forced ventilation, as will be explained in detail below, where multiple objects are placed and treated at certain thermal temperatures (60 ° T.L. for all xylophagous insects) for a variable period of time, depending on the type of material and quantity / thickness that can vary from two hours to a maximum of about eight hours. The object is treated uniformly, both superficially and in depth (generally the ratio is one hour of treatment for each cm of thickness). The thermal temperature inside the cabin is regulated and determined by using the digital regulator (+ 0-1 ° C) placed outside the cabin that governs the operation of the treatment. The temperature of the object inside the cabin and the degree of effectiveness of the treatment are monitored by the digital regulator and by the special probe thermometer, inserted directly into the material. The use of this procedure produces in the treated objects the temporary lowering of the humidity rate (which normally should be around 12-14%) thus allowing to reclaim and dry any material, in particular the artifacts kept in humid environments (cellars , attics and the like) where the percentage of water and therefore of mold is high (ideal habitat for colonies of xylophagous insects). In particular, on these artifacts, the further benefit is also obtained consisting in the non-manifestation of the negative settling effects typical of wood (such as cracks, detachments, narrowing of panels, etc.) when they are definitively relocated, as furniture, in the desired environment. The regenerative treatment in the thermal cabin effectively solves multiple problems, however it can be used indiscriminately before and after the restoration of the artifact, where this is necessary. This system is totally natural, ecological, it is neither polluting nor harmful to human health, it is absolutely respectful of the environment as it does not provide for the use of toxic substances, gases or other chemicals; also the energy consumption is contained and the cost is modest since the dimensions of the cabin together with the type of system as mentioned above, allow to treat many objects at the same time without the constant presence of the operator. The cabin is made up of insulating panels in pre-painted sheet metal (thickness 1 mm) and polyurethane foam which provides adequate thermal insulation (thickness 10 cm); to access the cabin, use the special door, which is also hermetic, insulated and thermally insulated, equipped with a porthole to allow internal visibility. Forced ventilation is given by the continuous recycling of hot air, powered by an elongated shaft motor which solicits the movement of the fan from the outside (so-called clochea) which pushes the air inside the steel structure, first of all along the housing of the resistances and then in the pipe that follows, with a diameter of 20 cm, until it reaches the head where it flows through 6 groups of channel dampers that distribute the heat of 60 degrees centigrade, individually adjustable, in order to set and keep the desired level of ventilation inside the cabin constant. The heating system is powered by a battery of 6 finned armored electric resistances (power of 1KW each) placed on the air recycling section, inspect them through a special door. The final results obtained by the aforementioned procedure are the following: elimination of all parasitic organisms (wood insects, such as woodworms, in all their life stages - eggs, larva, chrysalis parasites of paper, such as mites, silver fish and parasites of tissue moths); the correction of defects in the wood, such as curved surfaces, skewed doors and various distortions, resulting from the passage of time, the action of atmospheric agents and the natural movement of the wood; the elimination of excess humidity with consequent reclamation of the material, especially that exposed to humid environments (cellars, attics and the like) where the concentration of water and mold is high (ideal habitat for colonies of xylophagous insects): elimination of other defects, such as cracks, detachments, narrowing of panels etc, once the product is definitively relocated to the desired environment.
