The present invention relates to a breathable shoe.

As is known, in order to be comfortable, a shoe must ensure a correct heat and water vapor exchange between the microclimate inside the shoe and the external one.

However, this thermal and water vapor exchange must not in any way compromise the impermeability of the shoe to external humidity or water.

Shoes currently present on the market leave this heat and water vapor exchange substantially either to the upper or to the sole.

As for the upper, nowadays there are shoes on the market that are perforated and / or equipped with linings made of breathable and waterproof material.

In some models, parts of the upper can be replaced by materials that are both waterproof and breathable at the same time.

Another category of shoes, on the other hand, assigns transpiration to the sole, always making use of layers of waterproof and breathable material possibly associated with protective layers and fillers.

The main aim of the present invention is to provide a breathable shoe which allows the exchange of heat and water vapor both through the upper and through the sole, always guaranteeing an optimal internal microclimate as a function of the external climate.

In relation to the main catch, an aim of the present disclosure is that of realizing a breathable shoe whose structure is absolutely not conditioning in terms of stylistic and aesthetic research, allowing the widest freedom of shapes and types of footwear.

Another object of the invention is to provide a breathable shoe intended for both daily use and sports use.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a breathable shoe whose cost is competitive with respect to the costs of known breathable shoes.

A further object of the present invention is to provide a breathable shoe which can be manufactured with known technologies.

The main purpose, the intended aims and other objects which will appear more clearly later on are achieved in a breathable shoe which is characterized in that it comprises the following combination of elements:

- a breathable upper associated with a breathable or perforated lining; - a perforated elastomer tread;

- a midsole comprising at least one membrane in waterproof and breathable material associated with a protective, lower layer in material resistant to hydrolysis, water-repellent, breathable or perforated;

- a breathable or perforated insole;

- a filler layer, transpiring or perforated, arranged between the insole and said membrane;

said tread and said membrane, being sealed in the perimeter areas of union where said lower protective layer is thinned or missing.

Further characteristics and advantages of the present invention will become clearer from the description of two embodiments thereof, illustrated by way of example, but not limiting their scope in the attached drawing tables in which:

With particular reference to figures 1, 2 and 3, a breathable shoe, drying up the invention, in a first embodiment thereof is generally indicated with the number 10.

In this case, the shoe 10 comprises a breathable upper 11 (for example made of natural leather without covering pigments) associated with a breathable or perforated lining 12 (for example in "cantarelle").

The lining 12 is associated with the upper 11 by gluing points so as not to compromise the transpiration through the latter.

The shoe 10 also comprises a tread 13 in elastomer perforated at the bottom and with a raised edge 13a, a midsole indicated as a whole with 14 comprising a membrane 15 made of waterproof and breathable material, of the type available on the market and commonly called by the name GORETEX commercial, associated with a protective layer 16, facing the tread 13, in material resistant to hydrolysis, water repellent, breathable or perforated, thinned in the perimeter areas to gradually bring the membrane 15 closer to the tread 13.

The midsole 14 is surrounded by the edge 13a of the tread 13.

The shoe 10 also comprises: an insole 17 made of breathable material (for example natural leather) or perforated, with optional heel in soft leather with absorbent rubber latex, and a filling layer 18 made of breathable felt placed on the tread 13 with the membrane 15.

Furthermore, in this first embodiment, a toe 19, transpiring or perforated, associated with the upper 11 by glue points is applied to the shoe 10 so as to guarantee its transpiration.

Similarly, a transpiring or perforated rear buttress 20 associated with it for glue points is associated with the upper 11.

The upper 11, in this case, is associated with the insole 17 by applying a layer of glue according to a perimeter band.

The limitation of the bonding layer to a perimeter band allows to keep the transpiration unaltered for most of the surface of the sole of the foot.

In fact, the shoe 10 has the central part of the insole totally devoid of any element impermeable to water vapor (not transpiring).

The membrane 15 and the protective layer 16 are coupled together by point gluing, adopting a glue, available on the market, resistant to hydrolysis (type commonly called "hot merc" or calendered powder systems).

As far as the protective layer 16 is concerned, it can be utlimly made of a water-repellent material capable of drying in a short time, such as for example non-woven or needle-punched fabric.

Furthermore, this protective layer 16 faces downwards, that is towards the tread 13 since it must protect the membrane 15 from external impacts or from foreign bodies which can penetrate through the holes present in the tread 13 itself.

According to the invention, the membrane 15 is joined to the tread 13 by means of an adhesive, available on the market, resistant to hydrolysis, on a perimeter band 15a where the protective layer 16 is thinned and therefore where the adhesive can penetrate and cross it forming a whole. sandwich.

Furthermore, the fastening of the membrane 15 with the tread 13 must be made in such a way as to guarantee a seal against external water along its entire perimeter, this being possible by gluing using glues resistant to hydrolysis or with high frequency welding or with molding by over-injection on the tread 13 of compatible material which allows perfect adhesion.

As shown in the description of this first embodiment, the shoe according to the truss is generally breathable, any non-breathable areas having been substantially limited to the perimeter areas of the sole which must guarantee a seal against water and the external humidity.

Transpiration can be further increased, through the sole as a whole, if the insole 17 is applied to the upper 11 with seams, thus obtaining that the entire surface of the insole 17 itself can transpire as it is not engaged by glue.

With particular reference to Figure 4, a shoe, according to the invention, in a second embodiment thereof is generally indicated with the number 100.

The shoe 100 comprises an upper 101 associated with an overall breathable or perforated inner lining 102.

The shoe 100, similarly to what has been said for the shoe 10, comprises a tread 103, in perforated elastomer with a raised edge 103a, a midsole indicated as a whole with 104 comprising a membrane 105, in waterproof and breathable material, associated with a protective layer bottom 106 made of a material resistant to hydrolysis, water-repellent, transpiring or perforated, the edge 106a of which is internal and spaced from the edge 105a of the membrane 105, preferably surrounding the perforated areas of the tread 103.

The shoe 100 also comprises a breathable or perforated insole 107 and a filling layer 108, breathable or perforated, arranged between said insole 107 itself and the membrane 105.

the shoe 100 differs from the shoe 10 in that the membrane 105 is perimetrically glued directly to the tread 103 since this part is free from the protective layer 106. In practice it has been found that the present invention has achieved the aim and objects in particular, it should be noted that the shoe according to the invention perfectly responds to the need to have an optimal heat and water vapor exchange between the internal microclimate and the external climate at the same time, however, safeguarding total impermeability from water and 'humidity.

It should be noted that all this has been achieved while maintaining a highly flexible shoe structure that is adaptable to every stylistic type and to every aesthetic and economic level required by the market.

Furthermore, it should be noted that the structure of the shoe, according to the invention, can be easily produced in large series since the operations can be completely automated.

A further observation is to be made on the fact that the structure of the shoe according to the invention allows a certain flexibility as regards the association of its constituent elements which leads to considerable production economies in relation to flexibility and adaptability to various situations and production realities. .

The present invention is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all of which are within the scope of the inventive concept, furthermore the details can be replaced with other technically equivalent elements.

The material and the dimensions can be any according to requirements.

Claims (8)

CLAIMS 1) Breathable footwear that is characterized by the fact that it includes the following combination of elements: - a breathable upper associated with a breathable or perforated lining; - a perforated elastomer tread; - a midsole comprising at least one membrane in waterproof and breathable material associated with a lower protective layer in material resistant to hydrolysis, water-repellent, breathable or perforated; - a breathable or perforated insole; - a filling, transpiring or perforated layer, arranged between said insole and said membrane; said tread and said membrane, being sealed in the perimeter areas of union where said lower protective layer is thinned or missing. 2) Breathable footwear as in claim 1, characterized in that said tread has a raised edge which contains said midsole. 3) Breathable footwear as in claim 1, characterized in that said filling layer is made of breathable felt. 4) Breathable footwear, as in one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said upper and said insole are mutually associated by means of glue or seams according to a perimeter band. 5) Breathable footwear as per one or more of the preceding claims, characterized by the fact that said membrane and said protective layer are associated by points with hydrolysis-resistant glue of the type commonly referred to in the HOT MERC sector or calendered powders. 6) Breathable footwear as per one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said protective layer is made of non-woven or needled fabric. 7) Breathable footwear, as per one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the association and seal between said tread and said membrane is made by gluing with glues resistant to hydrolysis or by welding in high frequency or with over-injection molding of material compatible with that of said tread, to form a perimeter seal. 8) Breathable footwear as in one or more of the preceding claims, characterized by what is described and illustrated in the attached drawings.
