Abstract

DESCRIPTION

The present invention relates to a palletizable container. Display pallets made of recyclable paper material such as thick cardboard, in particular of the corrugated type, are increasingly requested by the market.

Purely by way of example, one of the various fields of application that requires an ever-increasing quantity of display pallets is that of food retailers commonly known as the hard discount where foodstuffs are sold at retail without ordering them on shelves or furnishings prepared for but leaving them inside the pallets themselves from where the user directly picks them up.

The display pallets in paper are also used in warehouses, at fairs and in a variety of application fields.

Despite the diversity of application destinations, the display pallets available on the market have a substantially common basic structure consisting of an impeccable containment box body made by cutting and folding paper sheets.

In most cases, the box-like containment body is made according to a folding method that goes by the name, commonly known in the sector, of American box.

The box-like containment body is supported on the ground by two or more beams made of wood or other material which are moreover glued to the bottom of the box-like containment body.

The display pallets on the market, while fulfilling their intended task, are not without drawbacks, the main one of which is to be noted in the fact that the box-like body that constitutes them is distributed already prepared with the beams glued or otherwise fixed to its bottom, while nowadays the need to palletize any container is growing more and more regardless of whether it was originally made to become a pallet.

On the other hand, the palletizing methods available on the market either require pre-arranged containers, or require gluing or coupling operations that are often impractical in non-equipped places where the need for palletizing usually arises.

Moreover, due to the presence of the beams, usually made of wood or plastic material, the pallets present on the market do not take a total packability, which leads to storage problems.

Another drawback manifested by the known display pallets is that relating to the fact that once they are uncovered and once the objects contained in them are removed, further removals as you proceed towards the bottom become more and more difficult and this especially if the object content achieves a high packing such as notebooks, books, etc. ..

The main task of the present invention is to provide a container that can be palletized in a simple way and also in places not particularly equipped, which also has a totally packable structure in order to achieve, in the pre-use phase, high degrees of packing and in any case higher than the relative ones. to known exhibitor pallets.

In relation to the main catch, one of the embodiments of the present invention is to provide a container which, in its transformation into a pallet, does not have component elements associated with each other by gluing, sewing or other external aids.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a container which, once transformed into a pallet, is made entirely of recyclable paper material.

A further object of the present invention is to provide a container which allows easy removal of the objects contained therein even if it is found in the vicinity of the bottom.

Not least object of the present invention is to provide a container which can be produced with known technologies and whose assembly during use is extremely simple and can be carried out even by unskilled personnel.

The main purpose, the intended aims and other purposes will appear even more clearly later on, are achieved by a palletizable container made of paper material such as corrugated cardboard or the like characterized in that it comprises a box-like containment body on the bottom of which they are obtained by cutting flaps having the free expanded end with respect to the rest, adapted to be folded and inserted into shaped holes obtained in ground support beams for said box-like body, making the anchoring by interlocking of the expanded ends with portions of said holes more narrow of them.

Further characteristics and advantages of the present invention will become clearer from the description of an embodiment thereof illustrated by way of example, but not limiting its scope, in the attached drawings in which:

The container 10 comprises a box-like containment body, indicated as a whole with 11, consisting, in this case, of a tray base 12 made by cutting and folding paper material, in particular cardboard with good resistance such as corrugated, and recyclable and supported. on the ground through, in this case three beams 13.

The container 10 also comprises a parallelepiped containment element 14, open at the top and at the bottom and made by cutting and folding paper material, in particular always corrugated cardboard, and recyclable.

The parallelepiped element 14 is closed at the top by a removable lid 15 also suitably made of corrugated cardboard.

Furthermore, the parallelepiped element 14 has the bottom inserted in the tray base 12.

This structure of the box-like containment body 11 means that during use the lid 15 can be initially uncovered, giving the possibility to access the objects housed at the top and, when the latter are removed, the further removal of objects adjacent to the bottom is facilitated. by the fact that the parallelepiped element 14 can be removed from the tray base 12 thereby leaving the further contained objects completely uncovered and easily accessible.

Each of the beams 13 is constituted, in this case by three elements suitably made of corrugated cardboard, which can be assembled together for mutual interlocking and described below.

A first element 16 is shaped to define cusps 17 in each of which two first transverse slits 18 are defined, connected to each other by flat portions 19.

A second element 20, again suitably made of corrugated cardboard, is shaped to define a U-shaped section, with parallel, converging or diverging wings, and second transverse slits 21 into which the cusps 17 are inserted during assembly.

The wings 22 of the second element 20 go, in assembly, to fit into the first slots 18 of the first element 16.

When the first element 16 and the second element 20 are associated with each other, they create a structure, completely flawless, in the pre-use phase, which however in assembly shows a high structural resistance both to compression and to bending.

The first element 16 and the second element 20, once associated, are contained by a third element 23, also in corrugated cardboard, also shaped to define a U-shaped section, with parallel, converging or diverging wings, and from whose wings 24 develop centering reliefs 25 whose association with the tray base 12 is illustrated below.

The beams 13 are fixed to the bottom of the tray base 12 by means of shaped holes 26 with a tapered portion 27 and in opposition to this associated with a retention tab 28, which are formed in the wings 24 of the third elements 23.

Furthermore, the flaps 29, obtained by cutting the bottom of the tray base 12, each grip the free end 30 which is expanded with respect to the rest, which is inserted in the assembly after bending downwards, in a corresponding of the holes 26.

The centering reliefs 25 are inserted during assembly into the opening left by the shearing of the edges 29.

In practice, it has been found that the present invention has solved the problem and the aims set for it: in fact it should be noted that the container, according to the invention, can be palletized in a simple and rapid way, requiring only a shaped cut of the bottom to define the edges. 29 or lines of invitation to break to obtain the lenses 29, without this weakening the structure or complicating the production phases.

Furthermore, once used, the container according to the invention is completely compressible for destruction also as regards the beams which are also made of recyclable paper material.

Practical tests have also shown how, in particular, the display pallet obtained from a container is particularly robust and capable of supporting even considerable loads.

As previously illustrated, the container according to the invention has a structure such as to allow easy access also to the objects stored in the vicinity of the bottom.

Furthermore, the structure of the display pallet obtained from the container, according to the invention, is particularly simple to assemble, does not require specific skills and also allows, by simply modifying the time interval between the cutting of successive pairs of flaps, to modify the center distances between the beams according to the load to be supported and the center distance of the forks suitable for handling the pallets.

The present invention is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all of which are within the scope of the inventive concept: thus, for example, a separate pallet can be provided, subsequently associable with a container for palletizing it, comprising a base to which they are fixed with the method already described in the previous description of ground support beams, at least one of which may have the relative third element made monolithically by cutting and bending an edge area thereof.

Finally, it should also be noted the possibility, for the pallet described above, in an equivalent way to the palletizing container, that the hooking flaps of the beams can be provided in various positions so as to be able to hook the beams at different mutual distances depending on the distance. between the forks of the handling means and / or the weight that must bear on them and the corresponding deflection arrow which is desired to appear on the bottom of the container or of the palletizing base.

Furthermore, the details can be replaced with other technically equivalent elements.
