DESCRIPTION

The present invention relates to a modular modular body structure.

Modular caissons are currently known consisting of a base to which two longitudinal walls and two side walls are associated, each longitudinal wall being fixed to the two side walls and each side wall being fixed to both longitudinal walls.

This modular box is completed by a lid hinged to one of said walls.

Said base, said walls and said cover are mutually connected by means of removable junction means.

Said removable joining means are of the reversible interlocking type, said walls, base and lid are therefore particularly easy to assemble / disassemble even for a user without particular technical knowledge.

Below the base there are wheels that allow easy movement of the box even in the assembled configuration.

These caissons are very useful for their capacity in all rooms of the house, from the bedrooms, to the bathroom, to the garden.

These caissons have a vast market for their high versatility, lightness, manageability and therefore for their ease of transport, as well as

for their low cost.

The modularity of such caissons is of great advantage for producers and

retailers who are able to pack and store said modular containers

optimizing the available spaces.

Such modular caissons as described above even if known on the

market for many years, have perfectibility.

One drawback is that they can be assembled according to

a single compositional modality.

A no less important drawback is to be found in the fact that

said caissons are longitudinally limited, due to the intrinsic limits of the

molds and molding machines.

In fact, molds of exceptional dimensions lead to an increase of

exponential costs, caused both by the increase in size and

by the increase in problems related to the techniques and procedures of

molding adopted.

This inconvenience generally affects the capacity of the box,

in particular not allowing to store all those tools, for example

for garden maintenance or house cleaning that develop

particularly in length, as a vacuum cleaner, lawn mower, rake

and many others.

The main aim of the present invention is to provide

a modular box structure that allows a wider section

range of offer to the public.

Within the scope of the main task, another purpose of the present

found is that of realizing a modular box structure

comprising components such as to allow an increase in the capacity of said box.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a modular box structure which can be produced with known technologies and systems, without resorting to molding machines of special dimensions and therefore particularly expensive.

An important object of the present invention is to provide a modular box structure whose components can be easily packaged and stored with optimization of the available spaces.

A further object of the present invention is to provide a modular box structure that can be installed both in a closed and in an open environment.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a modular modular body structure equipped with wheels which allow it to be easily moved in the assembled configurations.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a modular body structure which can also be fitted out by users without particular technical skills.

Not least object of the present invention is to provide a modular modular body structure which has production costs which are competitive with known models.

The main task, the intended aims and still other aims, which will appear more clearly in the following, are achieved by a structure

removable junction, a first and a second wall, a cover being connected to said second wall with articulation and removable junction means, said first and second wall and said base presenting in perimeter areas fastening elements for components chosen from side walls and elements connection bridge with further ones of said first and second walls and of said base, said bridge elements being mutually connected by a crosspiece.

With reference to the aforementioned figures, a modular box structure as according to the invention in this case is indicated with the reference number 10.

This modular modular box structure 10 comprises two bases 11, one of which has two wheels 12 below one of its side edges 13.

A first 15 and a second wall 16 are associated on the longitudinal edges 14 of each base 11, with removable joining means 31.

A cover 18 is connected to each of said second walls 16 by means of articulation and removable junction 17.

Said first 15 and second wall 16 have on their vertical edges 19 first hooking means 20 for connection to further components which will be better described hereinafter.

Said first hooking means 20 take the form of blocks 20a

monolithic at the vertical edges 19.

Each block 20a comprises a chamfered boss 20b elastically deformable in bending.

Said blocks 20a with studs 20b fit reversibly into corresponding and predisposed centering and connection shapes 21, as these shapes 21 are present in those opposing components which will be better explained hereinafter.

Said bases 11 have on the lateral edges 13 counter-shaped seats 22 suitable for accommodating second 28 and third 30 hooking means which project underneath from said components which will be better seen below.

Said first coupling means 20 and said counter-shaped seats 22 allow said first 15 and second walls 16 and said base 11 to connect components chosen between bridge elements 23 and side walls 24.

Said bridge element 23 is monolithically constituted by a vertical portion 25, by a foot 26 and by a substantially triangular element 27 for reinforcement and connection between said vertical portion 25 and said foot 26.

Said bridge element 23 laterally comprises said centering and connection shapes 21, and said second coupling means 28 extend below said foot 26.

Said second hooking means 28 take the form of first tabs 28a with hooking tooth 28b.

Said first tabs 28a, and therefore said teeth 28b, are monolithic at foot 26.

develop said third coupling means 30.

Said third coupling means 30 take the form of second tongues 30a, with coupling teeth, monolithic to said lower sides 29 and therefore to said side walls 24.

Said first 28a and second 30a tabs are elastically deformable in bending and are engaged by reversible interlocking in said counter-shaped seats 22 on the lateral edges 13 of said bases 11.

Centering and connection shapes 21 are also present on said side walls 24.

The two bridge elements 23 allow by means of said first tabs 28a the connection between the two bases 11 placed adjacent to each other for one of the lateral edges 13, while by means of the shapes 21 they allow the coupling of two of said first 15 and second 16 walls .

The two side walls 24 complete the configuration of the caisson 10, positioning themselves on the sides of the structure not occupied by the bridge elements 23.

Said removable joining means 31 take the form of third tabs 3 la that can be elastically deformed in bending with anchoring tooth 31b.

Said third tabs 3 la develop monolithically from the lower edges 32 of said first 15 and second walls 16 and engage by reversible interlocking in slots 33 against shaped on the longitudinal edges 14 of said bases 11.

Said bridge elements 23 are mutually connected by a crosspiece 34.

This crosspiece 34 has T-shaped ends 34a, each suitable for housing in a corresponding counter-shaped cavity 35 present above the vertical portion 25 of said bridge element 23.

This crosspiece 34 comprises a drainage channel 36 which extends longitudinally to the same crosspiece 34.

Said cavities 35 are shaped to form a raised anti-overflow edge 35a.

Said vertical portion 25 of said bridge element 23 has a drainage opening 37 at the upper end of the external wall.

Said drainage channel 36 and said opening 37 ensure that, if the box is placed in an external environment and exposed for example to precipitation, the water is intercepted immediately under the gap present between the two adjacent lids 18 and rapidly expelled, avoiding therefore that it penetrates inside the box, wetting its contents.

Said raised edge 35a acts as an embankment for those seepages of drained liquid which insinuate themselves between said T-shaped end 34a and the respective cavity 35.

The crosspiece 34, positioned "as a lintel", prevents the bridge elements 23 from flexing outwards (due to any pressure exerted by the contents of the box on the first 15 and second 16 walls), improving the interlocking of the anchors 20a with the shapes 21 and the strength of the structure in general.

The modular box structure 10 comprises a complement element 38, equipped with removable connection means 39

for joining to adjacent lateral edges 13 of bases 11 connected by

said bridge elements 23.

Said removable connection means 39 consist of fourth tabs 39a which develop monolithically downwards from the lower face of said complement element 38.

Said fourth tongues 39a are elastically deformable in bending and have an anchoring tooth 39b at the end.

Said fourth tabs 39a are reversibly interlocked in said counter-shaped seats 22 on the lateral edges 13 of said bases 11.

This complementary element 38 strengthens the bond between the bases 11 already made by the bridge elements 23 and improves the design of the interior of the structure.

In the vicinity of said first 28a, second 30a, third 3 la and fourth 39a tabs there are centering and reinforcing elements 40 which fit into counter-shaped holes 41 on the lateral 13 and longitudinal 14 edges of said bases 11.

These centering and reinforcement elements 40 facilitate assembly and make the assembled structure less susceptible to bulging (due to any thrusts generated by the contents of the box) in the junction areas.

The two covers 18, which complete the structure 10 at the top, are connected by means of articulation and removable junction 17 to the respective second walls 16.

Said articulation and removable junction means take the form of plate-like elements 17a which develop vertically and monolithically from said second walls 16 and which have pivot elements 17b at the end.

These plate-like elements 17a and these pivot elements 17b,

elastically deformable under bending, they fit reversibly into the counter-shaped housings 17c present below each of said covers 18 in correspondence with one of the longitudinal sides.

Said modular box structure 10 assumes a basic configuration 42, comprising one of said bases 11, two of said wheels 12, one of said first 15 and second walls 16, one of said lids 18 and two of said side walls 24.

Said modular box structure 10 assumes a combined configuration 43, if it consists of two of said bases 11, of two first 15 and second walls 16, of two lids 18, of two side walls 24, of two bridge elements 23, of a crosspiece 34 and a complement element 38.

In practice it has been found that the intended aim and objects of the present invention have been achieved.

In particular, it should be noted that the modular box structure 10 as according to the invention, in its combined configuration 43 has double capacity with respect to the basic configuration 42, maintaining the same characteristics of lightness, strength, manageability and adaptability to any type of environment.

In practice, the materials used may be any according to requirements, provided they are compatible with the contingent use.

Claims (23)
