Al centro di ogni coppia di moduli, che costituisce un campo vi sono due quarti di sfera galleggianti, poste sul bordo interno di ciascun modulo, esse a coppie vanno a costituire un’ulteriore semisfera di galleggiamento posta al centro di ogni campo da gioco. Come elementi di congiunzione dei quattro moduli in_acciaio aisi 316 e Derlin, Essi devono garantire la unitarietà_della struttura unendo infatti saldamente i quattromoduli, così da creare un’unica struttura rigida e galleggiante. Questo pedana, come detto nel titolo del brevetto , può essere utilizzata anche per il gioco della pallacanestro utilizzando al posto della rete centrale due canestri laterali installati su due pali in acciaio che sono a loro volta ancorati stabilmente sotto la pedana. Nella tavola 1 di_4_è infatti riportata la vista in assonometria-della-pedana equipaggiata-con tali canestri.
