Description
Domanda di brevetto per invenzione industriale avente per titolo: "ATTREZZO PARTICOLARMENTE PER ALLENAMENTO GINNICO SPORTIVO E RELATIVO USO". Patent application for industrial invention entitled: "PARTICULARLY EQUIPMENT FOR SPORTS GYM TRAINING AND RELATIVE USE".
DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
The invention concerns a tool particularly for sports gymnastic training and its use, that is, a device capable of obtaining, with the exercise of it, a physical functionality that allows above all to achieve better sports results; in particular with regard to achieving a harmony of tone between the rectus muscles of the abdomen, the iliopsoas and the erectors of the rachis, especially between the first two; also the use of the tool being the subject of a patent request.
In this regard, it is known that the rectus abdominal muscles and the iliopsoas are antagonists with regard to achieving balance between the pelvis and the spine.
It is also known that the rectus abdominis muscles control the position of the pelvis by rotating it backwards and act on the costo-sternal, costo-vertebral, intervertebral, back-lumbar and lumbo-sacral joints, reducing, yes, with their exercise , lumbar lordosis; but the iliopsoas muscles, which control the position of the pelvis, consequently turning it backwards increase it.
The state of the art includes exercises that are not suitable for hopefully isolating the contraction of the rectus abdominals from that of the iliopsoas, precisely because they act on the balance between the rachis and the pelvis in a partially opposite way: depending on the currently selected starting positions and the current types of exercises, these latter muscles naturally intervene in the motor action, assuming a part, even a very substantial one, of the workload, which is thus subtracted from the beneficial or in any case expected training only of the former, producing unwanted or unexpected effects.
This happens both for free body exercises and for those performed with tools or with the aid of machines: all designed to overcome resistance in order to increase muscle tone and trophy, however indiscriminate and therefore only partially productive. .
The tools used so far consist of elements resistant to bending the torso forward, starting for example from the supine decubitus with straight or bent legs, or resistant elements applicable to the upper part of the trunk in exercises performed while sitting, standing or knees, or, again, with the aid of walls, floors, carpets, horizontal, inclined, fixed or adjustable benches.
Other tools have resistant elements applied to the pelvis or lower limbs; their use has the sole objective of toning and trophy of the rectus abdominis muscles, without selecting and coordinating some towards the others.
Finally, the state of the art provides for the combination of tools of the two aforementioned species, however with similar shortcomings.
Therefore the forms and methods of application of said resistant elements and also the structure of the same do not allow to isolate the contraction of the iliopsoas muscles from that of the rectus abdominis, thus obtaining, for example in the search for strengthening the function of the rectus abdominis, the unexpected strengthening also of the iliopsoas muscles.
From the foregoing derives the need to solve the technical problem to find a tool that allows you to apply the workload to the rectus abdominal muscles avoiding its distribution to other muscles, in particular to the iliopsoas, precisely because they produce contrasting effects and limiting results. in order to achieve the expected balance between the pelvis and the spine.
The invention solves the aforementioned technical problem by adopting a tool that allows the user to perform the exercise using a special structure consisting of at least one gradually yielding resistant element, such as a periodically deformable, elastic and / or mobile body, suitable for contact. , in whole or in part, with the dorsal-lumbar band of the bust, against which element the user repeatedly exerts pressure or even thrust for the flexion of the bust and the spine on themselves, even up to the inversion of the lumbar curve: tool requiring at least one hand grip or shoulder brake support point, possibly a surface for sitting, decubitus or foot support. In any case, for the best outcome of the exercise it is necessary that neither the shoulders nor the pelvis move significantly forward: for the latter, only backward rotation is foreseen. The advantages obtained by this invention are: the possibility of the rectus abdominal muscles taking on the work load only, with the exclusion of the iliopsoas and other antagonists of the spine; better control of the position of the pelvis and obtaining harmony of tone between the rectus abdominal muscles and the iliopsoas in order to improve sports performance; improvement of abdominal tension and breathing, presenting the rectus abdominis also a respiratory function. Some elements concerning the invention are illustrated, purely by way of example, in the twelve attached drawing tables: Figures 1, 2 are illustrative of the insertions of the muscles, those from 3 to 9 refer to exercises that do not allow the isolation of work imprinted on the rectus abdominis R by that of the antagonists, while Figures 10 to 27 refer to the invention. In particular: Figure 1 is an indicative map of the rectus R muscles of the abdomen, which are inserted, at the top, on the cartilages of the fifth, sixth, and seventh ribs (C5, C6, C7) and on the xiphoid A apophysis of the sternum, below on the pubic symphysis S; Figure 2 is a map concerning:
- muscoli iliaci I, che si inseriscono in alto sulla fossa iliaca e in basso sul piccolo trocantere del femore F, uniti ai tendine T del grande psoas; - iliac muscles I, which are inserted high on the iliac fossa and low on the lesser trochanter of the femur F, joined to the T tendons of the great psoas;
- i muscoli grandi psoas G che hanno origine in alto dalle vertebre L lombari e dall’ultima toracica U, inserendosi in basso sul piccolo trocantere del femore F unitamente ai due iliaci I e ai muscoli piccoli psoas P dalla dodicesima e dalla prima vertebra lombare alla fascia iliaca N. - the large psoas G muscles that originate at the top from the lumbar L vertebrae and from the last thoracic U, inserting downwards on the lesser trochanter of the femur F together with the two iliacs I and the small psoas P muscles from the twelfth and first lumbar vertebrae to iliac fascia N.
I, G, P. Figure 3 is the diagram relating to a common starting position, with the bust extended, of the exercises in particular to tone the rectus abdominis R, a position also adopted for the invention; Figure 4 relates to the supine decubitus, with legs stretched to then pass to the position of Figure 5 with the torso bending forward, free or resting against a resistance and possibly also up to the position of maximum collection of Figure 6; Figure 7 is the position taken in an exercise originating from the supine decubitus with legs bent; Figure 8 is the starting position, with the trunk extended while sitting, with the trunk bending forward: the resistance being applied to the upper part of the trunk; Figure 9 relates to the schematization of the direction of motion in the exercises referred to in the positions illustrated in Figures 3 to 8: it is noted that the insertions of the straight lines R indicated with C5, C6, C7, A have approached. to the pubic symphysis S, thus shortening, but also those of the iliopsoas F, the lumbar vertebrae L and the last thoracic U have come close in an undesirable way; with the above exercises it is therefore not possible to obtain harmony and balance of tone between the rectus R and the iliopsoas I, G, F especially with heavy loads, since the higher percentage of load weighs on the iliopsoas I, G, P.
Figure 10 illustrates the starting position with the bust extended, as well as Figure 3, with resistance RE applied, by means of a tool according to the invention, in a dorsal-lumbar portion of the rear wall of the bust: the lines of action of said resistance can be normal or in any case inclined; Figure 11 illustrates the relative arrival position with the torso flexed on itself.
In the application of Figures 10, 11, the lowering of the thorax, the rotation of the pelvis backwards and the flexion of the dorsal lumbar spine with consequent maximum approaching of the insertions of the rectus abdominis R, at first isotonic, then isometric contraction , which can be distinct or combined with each other (isotonometric), of the same muscles; at the same time we note the removal of the insertions F, U, L of the iliopsoas I, G, P: the angle Y formed between the axis of the rachis and the pelvis with the longitudinal axis of the femur, assumes a divergent course; the insertions of the long muscle D of the back are also removed, which is also an antagonist of the rectus muscles R: therefore all the antagonists of the rectus themselves relax allowing the best performance of the exercise, thanks to the perfect dosing of the loads due to the use of tool as expected.
Figures 12, 13, 14 further illustrate, as for the first two, the starting and ending positions, as for the third, the entity B of the displacement range of a dorsolumbar belt used in the use of the tool: the AC axis indicating the position, almost constant around the vertical, of the joint joining the coxo-femoral joints at the bottom and the humeral shoulder blade at the top, during the exercise; Figures 15, 16, 17 illustrate the use - sitting and resting on the ground - of an elastic band tool bound to the ground, to activate the RE resistance; Figure 18 illustrates, in elevation, the use of a kinematic tool, depicted in top view in Figure 19 to implement a resistance RE; Figures 20, 21 illustrate, in elevation, the use of tools assisted by a linear actuator to provide resistance RE; Figures 22, 23, 24 illustrate one of the possibilities of using an elastic band tool, not constrained, which implements the RE resistance; Figures 25, 26, 27 respectively show a wearable tool as an equipped belt, for use assisted by front and rear supports, not necessarily in sitting.
