Claims

CLAIMS 1. Clothesline of the type comprising: four tubular load-bearing elements (1A-D)> each having a vertical section (2) and two (3) horizontal sections, parallel to each other and perpendicular to the first, a box-like element (4) upper and a lower one, for the connection of the free ends (3A) of said horizontal sections (3), said box-like elements (4) allow to arrange the tubular elements (1A-D), in an operative position {fig. 1), in which they are arranged substantially in a cross shape, and in a rest position {fig. 2), in which at least one pair of grids (5) for hanging the laundry, and hooking elements (8,9) for supporting said grids are substantially parallel to each other, characterized in that the box-like elements (4) are shaped so that, in the rest position (fig. 2), the horizontal sections (3) of a tubular element (1A-D) are substantially coaxial to the horizontal sections of the opposing tubular element, and the horizontal sections (3) parallel to each other they are substantially side by side, so as to minimize the width (Li) of the clothesline in the rest position.
