Abstract

Un metodo per la formazione e l'alimentazione di un atmosfera gassosa a due componenti, di cui almeno uno sotto forma di vapore ottenuto da liquido, prevede di far gorgogliare un primo componente gassoso entro il componente liquido sotto condizioni controllate di pressione e di temperatura, e di prelevare quindi la miscela gas-vapore a composizione controllata.Per l'attuazione del metodo secondo l'invenzione viene previsto un dispositivo comprendente un recipiente saturatore contenente il componente liquido, mezzi per mantenere sostanzialmente costante il livello del liquido nel recipiente, mezzi per far gorgogliare un flusso di componente gassoso entro il saturatore, nonché mezzi per controllare la pressione e la temperatura all'interno del saturatore medesimo.L'invenzione si applica in particolare alla formazione di atmosfere comburenti e di atmosfere utilizzate in trattamenti termici di materiali in acciaio, specialmente trattamenti di carbocementazione gassosa (Fig. 1).
