DESCRIPTION

The present invention relates to a multipurpose apparatus for a toilet bowl.

As is known, even the bathroom has nowadays reached high levels of accuracy and refinement to be considered to all intents and purposes a real place to stay in with maximum comfort.

Unifying the functions of the toilet with those of the bidet can solve both space problems and help people with mobility difficulties such as the elderly, disabled and overweight individuals in their daily bodily functions.

The manual skills and movements are reduced to a minimum together with the possible assistance of third parties.

At the same time, a correct and complete cleaning is guaranteed, considerably reducing the possibility of infections associated with the use of sanitary ware, thanks to the reduced use of towels and bath sponges and the elimination of toilet paper.

The aim of the present invention is to provide a multipurpose apparatus for a toilet, which allows to provide people with considerable help with the utmost convenience in carrying out normal bodily functions.

Within this aim, an object of the invention is to provide a multipurpose apparatus which can be adapted to all existing toilet bowls on the market, equipped with both built-in and external flush cisterns.

Another object is to provide a multipurpose apparatus which uses the same line water used to fill the toilet or flush cisterns.

A further object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus which, due to its particular manufacturing characteristics, is capable of ensuring the greatest guarantees of reliability and safety in use.

This and other purposes, which will appear more clearly later on, are achieved by a multipurpose apparatus for a sanitary vessel, characterized in that it comprises an annular body mounted on the upper part of a sanitary vessel, and hinged to a base body, by means of a zipper.

The aforesaid annular body is hollow and comprises a series of nozzles, arranged along the internal sides of the annular body and connected to a hot water supply system.

The annular body also comprises a series of emission points for hot air, fed through air ducts.

Further characteristics and advantages of the object of the present invention will become more evident through an examination of the description of a preferred, but not exclusive, embodiment of the invention, illustrated by way of non-limiting example in the attached drawings, in which:

Figure 1 is a longitudinally sectioned side elevation view of the multipurpose apparatus applied to a toilet, according to the present invention;

Figure 2 is a longitudinally sectioned side elevation view of the multipurpose apparatus;

Figure 3 is a sectional plan view of the multipurpose apparatus;

Figure 4 is a perspective view from below in which the step of dispensing the water jets is visible;

Figure 5 is a view similar to the previous one but in which the drying air delivery step is illustrated.

With particular reference to the numerical symbols of the aforementioned figures, the multipurpose apparatus, according to the invention, globally indicated with the reference number 1, comprises an annular body 2, which is applied to the upper part of a sanitary vessel 3, instead of the traditional axis.

The annular body 2 is hinged to a base body 4 by means of an articulated hinge 5.

The base body 4 rests on the rear part 6 of the toilet bowl 3.

In the example illustrated here, the base body 4 is integrated with the water storage tank 7 for the flush washing system.

According to the present invention, the annular body 2, which is hollow, comprises a series of nozzles 8, arranged along the internal sides of the annular body 2 and preferably in two series of four nozzles for each side.

The nozzles 8 are connected to a hot water supply system which comprises a flexible duct 9 capable of following the pivoting movement of the annular body 2.

The annular body 2 also comprises a series of openings or slits 10, which constitute emission points of hot air fed through a pair of air ducts 11.

The operation of the multipurpose apparatus according to the present invention is as follows.

The washing operation of the person is carried out with a series of blade jets, emitted by the nozzles 8 present on the edge of the annular body 2.

These jets converge on the axis of the sanitary vessel, investing a large area in the center axis itself.

Some jets, on the front, also have the purpose, in addition to washing, of placing a barrier to the jets of the rear, directing the water that arrives at the center of the axis of the vessel 3, towards the rear.

This protects the anterior groin portion from contact with bacteria and therefore guarantees maximum hygiene.

The drying operation is performed by means of the four hot air emission points 10.

The emission points 10 are fed with forced ducts of hot air at variable temperature, constructed in such a way as not to contain backwashes of water inside them and to remain completely dry after use.

The four hot air emission points 10 are arranged in a wide radius of the annular body 2, both in the rear and in the front side, in order to be able to completely invest the affected area.

The multipurpose equipment can be adapted to sanitary toilets with built-in or external waste cisterns, by varying the lid that encloses the service parts of the various management systems placed on the back of the multipurpose device, which may or may not have the seat of the drain hose. toilet flush, which is exposed to the outside of the wall.

The multipurpose apparatus according to the present invention offers the advantage of using the same water that is used in the vicinity of the toilet, to be introduced into a suitable container, managed with a solenoid valve and two levels of proximity to guarantee its content electronically, then heated in 8 minutes at a variable temperature, at the push of a button, from 30 to 40 degrees, to then be used.

The cold water deposited in the supply pipes is discharged without hitting the user's body.

Subsequently, high pressure water is emitted, also managed with two different pressures by means of a button, to exercise in addition to washing also a massage on the affected part.

The 8-jet distribution of water on the body parts has been designed so that they perform a direct washing of the rear part while the front part, in addition to washing, is protected from any contamination of the rear jets by the configuration and characteristics of the jets themselves.

The drying of the wet parts is managed with the four jets of hot air which, through a button, allows the user to choose a temperature ranging from 40 to 60 degrees.

The controls are managed electronically by means of an electronic card which receives the impulses from the buttons placed on a movable arm which facilitates reading and also neutralizes any support loads.

These commands give the faculty to significantly vary the water and air temperatures according to the different needs of the user.

Even the water pressure can be adjusted as desired, to allow its action on the epidermis with the preferred intensity, with the result of also achieving a massage action.

The controls can also be programmed to manage, through timers, all the washing and drying phases, up to the end of the operations.

As regards safety, the present equipment is advantageously equipped with a device which detects the presence of the person and which gives consent at the beginning of the work cycle and cancels this consent in the event of the person's absence.

An emergency button allows you to block all work cycles, and is equipped with a reset to restart the cycle.

The apparatus further comprises an automatically operated switch, a so-called integrated "circuit breaker", thermal fuses and bimetallic thermostats.

In practice it has been found that the invention achieves the intended aim and objects.

In fact, a multipurpose device has been created that can be applied to all existing sanitary vessels on the market, equipped with both built-in and external waste cisterns.

This appliance uses the same line water used to fill the toilet or cisterns and includes a device for discharging cold water into the washing pipes before use.

The materials used, as well as the dimensions, may of course be any according to requirements.

Claims (10)

R I V E N D I C A Z I O N I 1. Multi-purpose apparatus for a sanitary vessel, characterized in that it comprises an annular body mounted on the upper part of a sanitary vessel, and hinged to a base body, by means of a hinge; the aforesaid annular body is hollow and comprises a series of nozzles, arranged along the internal sides of the annular body and connected to a hot water supply system; the aforesaid annular body further comprises a series of emission points for hot air fed through air ducts. 2. Multi-purpose apparatus, according to claim 1, characterized in that the hot water supply system comprises a flexible duct capable of following the pivoting movement of the annular body. 3. Multi-purpose apparatus, according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a series of eight nozzles which emit blade-like jets of water; these jets converge on the axis of the sanitary vessel, investing a large area in the center axis itself; the jets arranged on the front, also have the purpose, in addition to washing, to create a barrier to the jets of the rear, directing the water that arrives at the center of the axis of the vessel, towards the rear. 4. Multi-purpose apparatus, according to claim 1, characterized in that the hot air emission points are fed by forced ducts of hot air at varying temperatures, configured in such a way as not to contain any backwash of water inside them and to remain completely dry after use. 5. Multi-purpose apparatus, according to claim 4, characterized in that the hot air emission points are four and are arranged in a wide radius of the annular body, both on the rear and on the front side, to be able to completely invest the affected area. 6. Multi-purpose apparatus, according to one or more preceding claims, characterized in that it uses the same water provided for the flush, which is introduced into a special container, managed with a solenoid valve and two proximity levels to guarantee its content electronically, therefore heated at variable temperature, by means of a button, and then used. 7. Multi-purpose apparatus, according to one or more preceding claims, characterized in that the cold water deposited in the supply pipes is discharged without hitting the user's body. 8. Multi-purpose apparatus, according to one or more preceding claims, characterized in that the aforesaid nozzles emit water at high pressure, with two different pressures selectable by means of a button, to exert, in addition to washing, also a massage on the affected part. Multi-purpose apparatus, according to one or more preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises a device which detects the presence of a person and which gives the consent to the beginning of the work cycle and cancels this consent in the event of the person's absence; an emergency button allows to block all work cycles and is equipped with a reset to restart the cycle. 10. Multi-purpose apparatus, according to one or more preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises an integrated automatic "life-saving" switch, thermal fuses and bimetallic thermostats.
