Tale accorgimento rende possibile variare anche in modo rimarchevole l’aspetto di un medesimo oggetto, cosicché, ad esempio, possa intonarsi, come colore o stile, agli accessori e/o capi di abbigliamento da indossare. I vantaggi di un tale modo di modificare gli oggetti sono molteplici e ben noti, spaziando da un risparmio economico ad una maggiore versatilità e maggiore possibilità di usufruire degli stessi.
