A tale scopo, i prodotti tipografici sono tipicamente allocati in espositori (in gergo, “display stand†o “brochure holder†), dalle cui caratteristiche dipende la loro efficacia espositiva. Per questo motivo, gli espositori devono risultare essere capaci di garantire una collocazione ordinata, semplice e pratica di prodotti tipografici anche differenti tra loro (per tipo e/o contenuto) e di garantire una stabilità sufficiente affinché l’espositore non possa essere rovesciato in presenza di sollecitazioni esterne accidentali.
