Abstract
The device (1) has a dust collector, a cover (3), and an obstacle recognition system (5) comprising a rocker-like feeler element (6) that is arranged in a protruding area. Deflection of the feeler element is used for recognizing an obstacle, and a sensor sensorily detects foot-side movement of the feeler element. The feeler element is fastened to the collecting device at a foot side, and the movement considered from a protruding end of the feeler element is partly detected beyond a joint. A leaf spring is connected with the feeler element in a region of a T-arm (9).
