La presente invenzione riguarda i mobili d’arredamento modulari, intendendo tale dizione nel senso più ampio per comprendere sia i mobili d’arredamento per d’abitazione sia quelli per negozi o più in generale per locali pubblici. Come è ben noto, i mobili normalmente appoggiano su un pavimento, direttamente o tramite piedini o gambe. In quest’ultimo caso, se i piedini sono sufficientemente alti, è possibile effettuare la pulizia della parte del pavimento sottostante il mobile, mentre ciò non è sicuramente possibile nel primo caso, a meno che si sposti il mobile. Come è noto, per quanto il mobile appoggi perimetralmente in modo continuo sul pavimente, al di sotto di esso si accumulano inevitabilmente polvere e sporco. Come si vede dalle figg. 1-5, il mobile 10 comprende nel caso specifico due soli elementi modulari 12 e 14 del tipo adatto ad esempio per formare un banco di negozio. Come si può vedere dalle figg. 1-5, gli elementi modulare 12 e 14 sono nel caso specifico identici. Tuttavia nulla vieta che essi abbiano forma e/o dimensioni diverse. Si vede pure che gli elementi modulari 12 e 14 sono in sostanza supportati a sbalzo, in posizioni contrapposte, da una struttura di supporto intermedia indicata nel suo complesso con 16.
