Description
GRUPPO EVAPORATORE DA PARETE/SOFFITTO PER IL WALL / CEILING EVAPORATOR UNIT FOR THE
CONDIZIONAMENTO DELL’ARIA, IN PARTICOLARE PER AMBIENTI AIR CONDITIONING, IN PARTICULAR FOR ENVIRONMENTS
The present invention refers to a wall / ceiling evaporator unit for air conditioning, in particular for storage rooms for refrigerated goods.
Nowadays, for the aforementioned purpose of conditioning an environment for the storage of refrigerated goods, various evaporator devices are known and commercially available which, in general, comprise at least one inlet opening for the air to be conditioned and at least an air conditioning expulsion opening.
Usually, these known evaporator devices are internally provided with coils in which the refrigerant fluid circulates, capable of absorbing the heat from the air to be conditioned and changing the phase passing from the liquid atomized to vapor.
Subsequently, the refrigerant passes through a compressor where it undergoes an increase in pressure, in a condenser, where it is cooled until it changes from vapor to liquid, and finally, if present, in a lamination valve where it is nebulised before being reintroduced at low temperature and low pressure in the relevant evaporator device.
These known evaporator devices, although they effectively condition the air that is in their proximity, have various drawbacks.
An example of these drawbacks resides in the fact that the aforementioned air inlet and outlet openings in known machines are nowadays always exposed to the surrounding environment and this often entails the accumulation of dust or other dust inside the evaporator device itself. making frequent cleaning / maintenance necessary, which is not always easy as the evaporator devices are generally fixed to the ceiling.
Another drawback of the evaporator devices known today and on the market is the fact that they do not offer the user the ability to adjust / control the air conditioning flow according to needs. In fact, disadvantageously, in the case in which there is occasionally the need to condition areas distant from a known evaporator device already installed, there is today no other possibility than to place another evaporator device in the same environment, with the risk, of high installation costs, to use it later only in certain infrequent conditions.
This problem is the cause of the numerous presence of evaporator devices in environments where normally only some are used continuously and others are switched on only occasionally.
However, for all installed devices, even those not always working, high maintenance costs are to be expected.
The object of the present invention is to provide a device capable of solving the aforementioned drawbacks of the prior art in an extremely simple, economical and particularly functional way.
Another purpose is to create a wall / ceiling evaporator unit for air conditioning, in particular for storage rooms for refrigerated goods, capable of preventing deposits of dust or other inside the evaporator device.
Another purpose is to create a wall / ceiling evaporator unit for air conditioning, in particular for storage rooms for refrigerated goods, capable of reducing heat exchanges from the evaporator device to the surrounding environment to a minimum during defrosting processes. of the evaporator itself.
Yet another purpose is to be able to have a wall / ceiling evaporator unit for air conditioning, in particular for refrigerated goods storage environments, capable of conditioning different types of environments regardless of their size.
Still another object is to be able to have a wall / ceiling evaporator unit for air conditioning, in particular for storage rooms for refrigerated goods, which offers the user the possibility of regulating the air conditioning flows according to needs. reaching at will only the near areas or even those far from the group itself without requiring any further installation in the event that there is occasionally the need to condition goods stored far from the evaporator device.
These purposes according to the present invention are achieved by making a wall / ceiling evaporator unit for air conditioning, in particular for storage rooms for refrigerated goods, as set out in claim 1.
Ulteriori caratteristiche dell’invenzione sono evidenziate dalle rivendicazioni successive. Further features of the invention are highlighted by the subsequent claims.
The characteristics and advantages of a wall / ceiling evaporator unit for air conditioning, in particular for storage rooms for refrigerated goods according to the present invention, will become more evident from the following description, exemplary and not limiting, referring to the attached schematic drawings in which:

Figure 4 is a side view of the evaporator assembly of Figure 2 in the inoperative position; and - figure 5 is a vertical sectional view of the evaporator assembly of figure 3 in inoperative position.
With reference to the figures, number 10 shows a wall / ceiling evaporator unit for air conditioning in cooling or heating, in particular, but not limited to, for storage rooms for refrigerated goods.
This evaporator group 10 according to the invention comprises an evaporator device 14 in which circulates a refrigerant fluid capable of absorbing or transferring heat to the air to be conditioned by taking it from the storage environment in which the evaporator group 10 is installed.
The evaporator device 14, such as those of the known type used today for air conditioning in storage rooms for refrigerated goods, comprises at least one inlet opening 16 for the air to be conditioned contained in the aforementioned storage environment, which at least one The inlet opening 16 is generally associated with suction means, such as fans or the like.
Further, the evaporator device 14 is equipped with at least one expulsion opening 13 of the conditioned air which had previously been introduced into the evaporator device 14 through the at least one inlet opening 16.
In particular, the aforementioned evaporator device 14, as in common air conditioners, includes inside coils in which refrigerant fluid circulates which absorbs heat from the air to be conditioned by changing phase from nebulized liquid to vapor.
Subsequently, the refrigerant fluid passes through a compressor, where it undergoes an increase in pressure, in a condenser, where it is cooled until it changes from vapor to liquid and finally in a lamination valve where it is nebulized before being reintroduced at low temperature and pressure into the evaporator group 10.
As can be seen in the figures, according to the invention, the evaporator assembly 10 further comprises a cover element 11 associated with both the at least one ejection opening 13 and the at least one inlet opening 16, which cover element 11 is movable to assume a closing position and a plurality of opening positions comprised between the previous closing position and a maximum opening position.
In particular in the closed position, shown for example in Figures 2 and 4, the covering element 11 is positioned in such a way as to completely obstruct both the at least one ejection opening 13 and the at least one inlet opening 16. of the air.
In this closed position, therefore, the entry of air to be conditioned into the evaporator device is prevented 14.
On the contrary, in one of the many possible opening positions, as shown for example in Figures 1, 1A and 3, the covering element 11 is in a position such as to at least partially free both the at least one expulsion opening 13 and the at least one inlet opening 16.
In this position, as in all possible openings, the air to be conditioned is therefore allowed to enter the evaporator device 14 and leave it conditioned through at least one expulsion opening 13.
The maximum opening position of the covering element 11 is reached when the at least one expulsion opening 13 is totally free facing the environment to be conditioned.
In order to provide for the above described movement of the cover element 11 with respect to the evaporator device 14 to stably assume the required position between those of closure and maximum opening, the evaporator assembly 10 comprises automatic means for moving the cover element 11 itself such as, as in the example shown in Figure 5, a movable movement actuator 21 acting directly or indirectly on the covering element 11.
In the example cited in Figure 5, the mobile actuator 21 acts by moving a lever element 22 which in turn is connected to a structure 23 of the cover element 11.
To ensure correct achievement of all portions of the covering element 11, it is also possible to provide for the presence of a flexible cable 24 suitable for connecting distant portions of the lever element 22 to each other.
According to what has been described up to now, the evaporator unit 10 of the present invention in the closed position is able to perfectly isolate the evaporator device 14 from the external environment, and this contributes to increasing both the cleanliness and the efficiency of the evaporator device 14 itself in certain configurations, for example during the defrosting of the evaporator itself, in which heat does not flow from the evaporator device 14 to the surrounding environment. Further, when required, the cover element 11 provides to free the at least one inlet opening 16 of the air to be conditioned and at least partially the at least one expulsion opening 13 of the same conditioned air.
In particular, as described above, the opening of the latter at least one expulsion opening 13 can take place in a modular or stepwise manner.
In other words, according to the invention it is possible to free even only a portion of your choice and not the whole of the at least one expulsion opening 13.
In this way, or by varying the opening of the at least one expulsion opening 13 according to requirements, it will be possible to adjust the speed of the conditioned air flow out of the evaporator device 14. In fact, releasing only part of the at least one expulsion opening 13 the outgoing air will have a higher speed, and therefore the ability to reach elements located far from the evaporator device 14, with respect to the speed that otherwise would have with the at least one expulsion opening 13 totally open. It is therefore clear how the evaporator unit 10 can guarantee ideal conditioning in any type of environment in which it is installed regardless of its size and the distance of any goods to be refrigerated by only adjusting the position of the covering element 11 with respect to the at least one ejection opening 13 and thus controlling the speed of the conditioned air flow.
No installation of further evaporator devices 14 is therefore necessary even under the conditions mentioned above.
According to a preferential embodiment, the evaporator unit 10 comprises a parallelepiped-shaped evaporator device 14 in which the at least one inlet opening 16 for the air to be conditioned, associated with suction means, is formed on a surface opposite to that of fixing to wall / ceiling 20.
Also in this embodiment, shown in the figures, the at least one expulsion opening 13 is obtained on at least one side surface of the parallelepiped evaporator device 14 and the cover element 11 is complementarily shaped like a parallelepiped, without a base.
In this way the covering element 11 comprises a base surface 30, internally associated with the surface of the evaporator device 14 on which the at least one inlet opening 16 is formed, and lateral surfaces 31 associated internally with the lateral surfaces of the evaporator device 14 on which the at least one expulsion opening 13 is obtained. In this example the parallelepiped cover element 11 translates along the side walls of the evaporator device 14, thanks for example to complementary surfaces which act as rails, between the closed position, in which the base surface 30 abuts against the surface of the evaporator device 14 equipped with the at least one inlet opening 16 and the side surfaces 31 equipped with the at least one ejection opening 13 are totally covered by the lateral surfaces 31 of the covering element 11, up to the position of maximum opening, in which the base surface 30 is in a parallel position of allocated by the surface of the evaporator device 14 equipped with at least one inlet opening 16 and the at least one ejection opening 13 of the side surfaces 31 are totally free.
Naturally, all the intermediate opening positions are provided between the aforementioned closing and maximum opening positions in which the free portion of the at least one expulsion opening 13 is partial. In particular, in the possible opening positions, the air can reach the at least one inlet opening 16 thanks to at least one opening 12 made on the base surface 30 of the covering element 11. In the closed position, said at least one opening 12 of the covering element 11 is occluded by at least one relative protruding element 33 of the evaporator device 14, while in the open positions the same 12 is released in the raised position to provide at least one passage for the air to be conditioned from the environment to the at least one inlet opening 16 of the evaporator device 14.
Preferibilmente in tale realizzazione il gruppo evaporatore 10 comprende quattro aperture di espulsione 13 ricavate sulle superfici laterali del dispositivo evaporatore 14 eventualmente associate a mezzi di espulsione dell’aria condizionata, quali ventole. Preferably in this embodiment the evaporator unit 10 comprises four expulsion openings 13 made on the side surfaces of the evaporator device 14 possibly associated with means for expelling the conditioned air, such as fans.
As mentioned, therefore, the movement and position assumed of the covering element 11 depending on the needs, determines the operation of the group 10 and in particular the speed of the air flow out of the evaporator device 14.
This movement can be controlled / operated by remote control means such as a wall switch or a remote control.
Alternatively, and / or together with the above, the evaporator unit 10 can comprise sensors connected both to the evaporator device 14 and to the cover element 11 capable of detecting some parameters of the air of the environment in which the unit 10 itself is mounted and consequently automatically activating both the evaporator device 14 and the displacement of the covering element 11 in order to obtain a desired flow.
It is quite easy to understand what the operation of the device object of the invention is. The evaporator unit 10 according to the invention comprising an evaporator device 14, equipped with at least one inlet opening 16 for the air to be conditioned and at least one expulsion opening 13 for the conditioned air, and a covering element 11 associated both with the at least one ejection opening 13 is the at least one inlet opening 16.
This covering element 11 is movable to assume all the positions comprised between a closed position and a maximum opening position.
In particular, the covering element 11 can assume different opening positions in which it at least partially frees both the at least one expulsion opening 13 and the at least one inlet opening 16 in such a way as to allow the air to be conditioned to entering the evaporator device 14 and leaving it conditioned with a speed depending on how much the relative at least one expulsion opening 13 is freed from the covering element 11.
By varying the position of the cover element 11 with respect to the evaporator device 14, it will be possible to control the flow of conditioned air according to needs.
It has thus been seen that a wall / ceiling evaporator unit for air conditioning, in particular for storage rooms for refrigerated goods according to the present invention, achieves the purposes outlined above.
In fact, the wall / ceiling evaporator unit for air conditioning, in particular for storage rooms for refrigerated goods, in the closed configuration is isolated from the external environment, preventing any deposits of dust or other inside the evaporator device 14 , both by minimizing any and unnecessary heat exchanges during the defrosting processes of the goods. Furthermore, the wall / ceiling evaporator unit of the present invention for air conditioning, in particular for storage rooms for refrigerated goods, is suitable for any environment regardless of the relative dimensions and the distance of the goods to be refrigerated, allowing you to adjust according to your needs. the conditioned air flows thanks to the various opening positions that can be assumed by the covering element 11.
