Abstract

It is provided a device comprising: a rotatable shaped block (7) which is in airtight engagement and hydraulically sealed in a casing (3) surrounding it and is placed downstream of conveyer elements (6) for banknotes and valuables; at least one pocket-shaped cavity (8) adapted to receive banknotes and valuables and formed in the shaped block (7) and having an access aperture (8a); and drive means (11) to rotate the shaped block (7) between a loading position at which the access aperture (8a) faces the conveyer elements (6), and a dispensing position at which the access aperture (8a) faces the outside of the casing (3). <IMAGE>
