DESCRIPTION

This seat for children is of the type comprising two lateral parts which constitute the legs, the seat itself and a backrest.

The object of this invention is the realization of the seat itself and of the backrest according to an assembly which overturns between the two lateral parts assuming distinct positions of inclination which can stabilize.

For this reason, the seat itself and the backrest are angularly joined to each other and in their lateral edges they comprise protrusions which slide guided in arched grooves of the internal face of the lateral parts.

The distinct positions of the seat-back assembly are stabilized with locking means which comprise rods which emerge from the side edges of the backrest and which, pushed elastically, selectively enter cavities provided in the internal face of the two side parts of the seat. These locking means comprise a control rotatably coupled to the rear face of the backrest and which is connected to said rods by means of cables joined to diametrically opposite points of said control.

Although the general structure of this child seat can be of any type, it will preferably have the structure provided in utility model No. 9602264 of the same applicant, the components of the child seat being formed from pieces of blown plastic material which are removably joined together. them by means of screws and nuts.

According to the drawings, the child seat comprises two lateral parts (1) and (2) which form the legs (1 ') and (2'), a seat proper (3) and a backrest (4) coupled to said parts side, a tray (not shown) joined to them, and two crosspieces (5) and (6).

All the pieces are made with blown molded plastic material and the crossbars are joined to the side parts with screws (7) and nuts (8), like the seat itself (3) to the backrest (4).
