La presente invenzione riguarda un dispositivo che consente di utilizzare in modo igienico, senza alcuna necessità di contatti manuali, la tavoletta o “ciambella” che normalmente protegge il bordo superiore di una tazza di water, in particolare nei servizi igienici di esercizi pubblici. Con riferimento ai disegni, il dispositivo secondo la presente invenzione comprende una tavoletta 1 per la copertura del bordo superiore di una tazza di water 10, di tipo noto ad eccezione del fatto di essere imperniata, invece che direttamente sul lato posteriore della tazza, preferibilmente mediante un elemento la solidale ed angolato rispetto ad essa, con un asse di rotazione X-X orizzontale, montato girevole all’interno di un alloggiamento verticale 2, situato posteriormente alla tazza 10 del water, senza peraltro occupare uno spazio eccessivo. All’interno di detto alloggiamento 2 sono previsti leverismi o cinematismi 5 e 6, soggetti a movimenti verticali in funzione della rotazione di detto asse X. In particolare, in corrispondenza di una rotazione in senso orario, considerando le rappresentazioni dei disegni, relativa ad un sollevamento della tavoletta 1, il cinematismo indicato con 5 subirà un movimento verso il basso, mentre quello indicato con 6 sarà soggetto ad un rispettivo movimento verso l’alto. Detti cinematismi 5 e 6 presentano, a loro solidali all’estremità inferiore, rispettivamente due comandi a pedale 3 e 4 che naturalmente assumeranno una posizione alternativamente sollevata o abbassata a seconda della posizione della tavoletta 1.
