Esistono sistemi di generazione di energia dal moto ondoso che hanno un funzionamento ottimale con treni d’onda regolari e di notevole altezza. In Italia è in corso di costruzione un sistema di generazione conglobato in un’opera di difesa costiera che utilizza la pressione generata dal moto ondoso per creare un flusso d’aria e convogliarla in un aero-generatore. Il congegno meccanico è relativamente semplice e non sono state riscontrate problematiche particolari se non nella cautela adottata nella scelta dei particolari costruttivi delle cerniere. Difficoltà sono state riscontrate nel dimensionamento realistico sia delle strutture che dei sistemi di trasmissione della potenza e della generazione di energia. Difficulties were encountered in the realistic sizing of both the structures and the power transmission and energy generation systems.

A suffragio delle considerazioni progettuali sono state svolte con docenti e ricercatori dell’Università degli Studi di Genova, schematizzazioni e verifiche tramite opportuni codici di calcolo. Sono state confermate le potenze previste con i treni d’onda più frequenti sino ad un’altezza significativa di l.Om pari ad uno stato di mare Douglas 4 definito usualmente come “molto mosso”. L’applicazione su strutture più esposte a stati di mare completamente sviluppati è possibile tramite alcuni accorgimenti meccanici marginali che devono essere oggetto di particolare attenzione nel dimensionamento di ogni sito. Rivendicazioni del BREV.INV.IND. dal TITOLO: A.L.E.T.TO.NE. - Sistema meccanico per la generazione di energia dal moto ondoso 1) Dispositivo meccanico per la generazione di energia sfruttando le oscillazioni della superficie del mare dovute al moto ondoso costituito da un sistema articolato in carpenteria metallica (1) fissato ad un'opera di difesa marittima, seguendone il contorno nella parete verticale verso mare lungo la sovrastruttura superiore prolungandosi in parte nella parete inclinata verso terra, dal compartimento stagno e galleggiante (2) vincolato con due cerniere, tramite perni dotati di bronzine, al complesso strutturale (1), dal puntone (3), tramite perno dotato di bronzine, che trasmette il moto alternativo delle onde alla biella (4), collegata tramite perno dotato di bronzine, che trasforma il moto alternato in moto di rotazione collegata all'asse (5), dotato di volano lento, collegato tramite calettamento alla ruota libera (6) che trasmette il moto rotatorio tramite il riduttore (6), con rapporto di moltiplicazione 226.3, al generatore di energia elettrica (7), dotato di un controllo di sistema tale da annullare la tensione sullo statore nella fase passiva, e dal volano veloce con un'inerzia di circa 1.75 kgm<2>(8), atto a stabilizzare insieme al volano lento (6) l’intero congegno, con un disco con diametro 440.0 mm e spessore 20.0 mm ed inerzia di 0.57 kgm<2>aumentabile sino a 1.81 kgm<2>con passo 0.206 kgm<2>. 2) Dispositivo meccanico per la generazione di energia dal moto ondoso secondo la rivendicazione 1, caratterizzato dal fatto che l’installazione del sistema su strutture di difesa di altezza superiore a quella prevista rende necessario modificare il complesso articolato in carpenteria metallica (1) vincolando direttamente le cerniere inferiori alla struttura, eliminando la porzione di telaio strutturale che segue il profilo verticale dell'opera marittima, allungando il puntone modificando quindi il sistema puntone-biella in modo tale da potere raggiungere la sommità dell’opera marittima lasciando inalterata la sistemazione meccanica ed impiantistica alla sommità dell'opera marittima. 3) Dispositivo meccanico per la generazione di energia dal moto ondoso secondo la rivendicazione 1, caratterizzato dal fatto che l’installazione del sistema su strutture di difesa particolarmente esposte al moto ondoso rende indispensabile adottare un sistema di alaggio del compartimento stagno (2) mediante due verricelli sistemati sulla struttura meccanica sulla sommità dell'opera marittima ed una coppia di cavi di collegamento con gli spigoli esterni del compartimento stagno così da attivare un sistema d’alaggio del compartimento stesso sino al punto di massima elevazione rendendolo inattivo. 4) Dispositivo meccanico per la generazione di energia dal moto ondoso secondo la rivendicazione 1, finalizzato all’ utilizzazione in bassi fondali modificando il complesso in carpenteria metallica realizzando una base d’appoggio sul fondo marino, stabile al ribaltamento ed allo scivolamento nel caso dei più elevati eventi ondosi previsti, disponendo il compartimento stagno al livello medio mare per potere sfruttare ogni movimento delle onde, ed una piattaforma soprelevata rispetto alla massima altezza raggiungibile dalle onde stesse per potere sistemare l’impianto di generazione di potenza tramite l’asse orizzontale con le apparecchiature già descritte. maritime defense structure and a pair of wire ropes connected to the outer edges of the watertight compartment in order to activate a system of lifting of the compartment itself to the point of highest elevation making it inactiveand indifferent to sea waves. 4) A mechanical device for the generation of energy from wave motion according to claim 1, designed for the use in shallow waters modifying the complex in metallic carpentry realizing a base support on the seabed, stable to tipping or slipping in the case of highest forecasted waves events, placing the sealed compartment at the mean sea level so to utilize every waves movements, and a raised platform respect to the maximum height reached by the waves so to fix the power generation plant via the horizontal axis and the
