Tale resina viene disciolta a freddo in una miscela solvente costituita dal 20 al 30% di gliconato di butile e dal 19 al 29% di 1-metossi propanolo, con la eventuale aggiunta di una percentuale massima del 10% di etil lattato. Alla soluzione così ottenuta si aggiunge dal 12 al 22 % di nafta solvente aromatica leggera e, se necessario per favorire la solubilità della nafta, si aggiunge sino al massimo del 7% di etossipropilacetato.
