In pratica, per assicurare la pronta produzione dei nuovi decori periodicamente inseriti in catalogo, non sara' piu' necessario averne predisposto i relativi e costosi impianti litografici o serigrafici ma, molto piu' semplicemente, basterà' averne memorizzato magneticamente il disegno. Una simile variante consentirebbe di evitare la stesura serigrafica del collodio ed il successivo distacco di questo dalla carta per asportarne i pigmenti del decoro. E’ ovvio che, ferme restando le caratteristiche di massima illustrate e descritte, il procedimento ed i mezzi ideati possono essere suscettibili di ulteriori modifiche e varianti comunque comprese nel presente ambito brevettuale. Claims (1)

RIVENDICAZIONI 1) "PROCEDIMENTO E MEZZI PER LA PRODUZIONE DI DE-CORI CON PIGMENTI CERAMICI, AD UNO O PIU COLORI, TRASFERIBILI SU PIASTRELLE PER RIVESTIMENTI ED AL-TRI ARTICOLI IN CERAMICA E VETRO", caratterizzati in via principale dalla realizzazione e dall’impiego di una pellicola che, costituita da materiale plastico e preferibilmente poliestere, presenta una faccia ricoperta da una miscela di pigmenti ceramici e sostanze resinose di aggrappaggio affinché’, mediante una stampante a trasferimento termico pilotata da un computer, detti pigmenti ceramici possano essere trasferiti, secondo il disegno programmato, su un foglio di carta da decalco od altro mezzo equivalente. 2) "PROCEDIMENTO E MEZZI...", come alla precedente rivendicazione, caratterizzati dal fatto che la pellicola di poliestere od altro materiale plastico idoneo, in relazione al tipo di stampante a trasferimento termico con cui utilizzarla, potrebbe presentare una spalmatura uniforme di pigmenti ceramici di un unico colore, oppure essere ripartita in zone con pigmenti ceramici di diverso colore e gestite in successione nella composizione del decoro secondo il disegno memorizzato nel computer a cui la stampante e' collegata. 3) "PROCEDIMENTO E MEZZI- ", come alle precedenti rivendicazioni, caratterizzati dal fatto che, dopo la riproduzione del disegno con pigmenti ceramici di uno o piu' colori e su carta da decalco, l'intera superficie decorata viene protetta con uno strato uniforme di collodio che, preferibilmente steso con un impianto serigrafico del tipo piano o a tamburo, assume con l'asciugatura la consistenza di una pellicola incorporante i pigmenti senza alterarne il disegno. 4) "PROCEDIMENTO E MEZZI...", come alle precedenti rivendicazioni, caratterizzati dal fatto che i fogli di carta da decalco su cui trovansi i pigmenti ceramici ricoperti dallo strato-pellicola di collodio, al momento del loro utilizzo vengono messi a bagno per potere separare la carta dal resto e quindi poggiare, sulla superficie ceramica o vetrosa da decorare, la pellicola di collodio con i pigmenti in essa incorporati. 5) "PROCEDIMENTO E MEZZI...", come alle precedenti rivendicazioni, caratterizzati dal fatto che, dopo opportuna asciugatura degli elementi da decorare e già' ricoperti dalla pellicola di collodio con i pigmenti ceramici, questi vengono passati in forno affinché', ad una temperatura di circa 750-880°, si ottenga la fusione dei pigmenti e la volatilizzazione senza tracce del collodio. 6) "PROCEDIMENTO E MEZZI...”, come alla rivendicazione n. 1), caratterizzati dal fatto che la carta da decalco può' essere sostituita da altra carta ricoperta da uno strato di cera o di resine termoattivabili. In tal modo, i pigmenti ceramici del decoro, applicati dalla stampante termica su detto strato, vengono trasferiti sulla superficie ceramica o vetrosa direttamente dalla carta, a caldo e per contatto diretto. 7) "PROCEDIMENTO E MEZZI PER LA PRODUZIONE DI DE-CORI CON PIGMENTI CERAMICI, AD UNO O PIU' COLORI, TRASFERIBILI SU PIASTRELLE PER RIVESTIMENTI ED AL-TRI ARTICOLI IN CERAMICA E VETRO”, come a tutte le precedenti rivendicazioni, sostanzialmente come illustrati e descritti per gli scopi specificati ed indipendentemente da quelle modifiche o varianti che in pratica potranno essere apportate senza esulare dal presente ambito brevettuale. CLAIMS 1) "PROCEDURE AND MEANS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF DE-CORI WITH CERAMIC PIGMENTS, IN ONE OR MORE COLORS, TRANSFERABLE ON TILES FOR COVERINGS AND OTHER ARTICLES IN CERAMIC AND GLASS", characterized mainly by the creation and use of a film which, consisting of plastic and preferably polyester material, has a face covered with a mixture of ceramic pigments and resinous bonding substances so that, by means of a thermal transfer printer controlled by a computer, said ceramic pigments can be transferred, according to the programmed drawing, on a sheet of transfer paper or other equivalent means. 2) "PROCEDURE AND MEANS ...", as in the previous claim, characterized by the fact that the polyester film or other suitable plastic material, in relation to the type of thermal transfer printer with which to use it, could have a uniform coating of pigments ceramic of a single color, or be divided into zones with ceramic pigments of different colors and managed in succession in the composition of the decoration according to the design stored in the computer to which the printer is connected. 3) "PROCEDURE AND MEANS -", as in the previous claims, characterized by the fact that, after the reproduction of the design with ceramic pigments of one or more colors and on transfer paper, the entire decorated surface is protected with a uniform layer of collodion which, preferably spread with a flat or drum-type screen printing system, takes on the consistency of a film incorporating the pigments upon drying without altering its design. 4) "PROCEDURE AND MEANS ...", as in the previous claims, characterized by the fact that the sheets of transfer paper on which the ceramic pigments covered by the collodion layer-film are located, at the time of their use are soaked to to be able to separate the paper from the rest and then place the collodion film with the pigments incorporated in it on the ceramic or glass surface to be decorated. 5) "PROCEDURE AND MEANS ...", as in the previous claims, characterized by the fact that, after suitable drying of the elements to be decorated and already covered by the collodion film with the ceramic pigments, these are passed in the oven so that, to a temperature of about 750-880 °, the melting of the pigments and the volatilization without traces of the collodion are obtained. 6) "PROCEDURE AND MEANS ...", as in claim 1), characterized by the fact that the decal paper can be replaced by other paper covered with a layer of wax or heat-activated resins. In this way, the ceramic pigments of the decoration, applied by the thermal printer on said layer, are transferred onto the ceramic or glass surface directly from the paper, by heat and by direct contact. 7) "PROCEDURE AND MEANS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF DE-CORI WITH CERAMIC PIGMENTS, IN ONE OR MORE COLORS, TRANSFERABLE ON TILES FOR COVERINGS AND OTHER ARTICLES IN CERAMIC AND GLASS", as in all the previous claims, substantially as illustrated and described for the specified purposes and regardless of those modifications or variations which in practice may be made without departing from the present patent scope.
