Abstract

The Yankee cylinder comprises: a cylindrical wall (3) defining an outer cylindrical surface; along said cylindrical wall and therewithin, a chamber (11) divided into annular compartments (11A) for the circulation of a heat transfer fluid; a shaft coaxial with the cylindrical wall and with said chamber, and a plurality of supply conduits (31) of the heat transfer fluid to the annular compartments and a plurality of discharge conduits (33) of the spent heat transfer fluid from the annular compartments (11A).
