DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
The present innovation relates to a tie for plants, which can be used, in particular, to tie the plant to be supported to the relative stake.
It is known that special supports are used to support the stem of the plants, which can be of various nature and conformation. For example, artificial structures such as poles, metal rods, horizontal metal cables, or natural structures such as woody plant stems can be used.
The fixing of the plant to be supported to the relative brace is made with ties that usually consist of tubular elements so-called "tubes" in plastic material (generally in PVC) or by plastic clamps provided with relative clamping teeth.
In the case of tubular elements, once they have been knotted, it is very difficult to loosen the knots and it is necessary to cut the ties, preventing them from being reused. Even in the case of cable ties, the fixing is irreversible and the clamp cannot be reused.
Another drawback resides in the fact that, once the traditional type ties have been positioned, their winding circumference around the brace is fixed, and that it cannot increase spontaneously or manually as a function of the growth of the plant stem.
The substantial impossibility of repositioning the traditional type ties, combined with the constraint determined by the circumference which cannot vary once the tie has been positioned, can give rise to drawbacks. In particular, the replacement of the ties with insufficient frequency can ruin the structure of the plant concerned. To better understand the phenomenon, it is possible to refer to Figs. 3 and 4. In Fig. 3, above, a traditional type band (3) is visible, used to fasten the stem (1) of a plant to the relative stake (2). In the case of non-timely replacement of the clamp, the growth of the plant determines the increase in the diameter of the stem (1) with consequent damage to the latter, such as, for example, the incision indicated with (4) in Fig. 4.
The present invention aims to eliminate the aforementioned drawbacks and to make the retention force of the tie variable.
This result has been achieved in accordance with the innovation by adopting the innovative concept of making a tie having the characteristics described in claim 1. Other characteristics are the subject of the dependent claims.
The advantages deriving from the present innovation essentially consist in what it is possible to achieve the fastening of the plants to the supports used for the support with considerable speed, simplicity and effectiveness, safeguarding the plant; that the tie can adapt to any variations in the section of the plant stem, either with manual loosening or automatically thanks to the structure and sizing of the tie; that the tie is simple to manufacture, cheap, reliable even after a prolonged period of use and can be used several times.
These and further advantages and characteristics of the present invention will be better understood by every person skilled in the art from the following description and with the help of the attached drawings, given as a practical example of the invention, but not to be considered in a limiting sense, in which:

- Fig. 5 represents a schematic perspective view of a plant stem secured to the brace by means of a tie according to the invention, during a step of loosening the tie itself.
With reference to the figures of the attached drawings, a tie (10) according to the invention can be used to tie the stem (1) of a plant, such as vine and others, to a stake (2). The tie (10) has a body with a mainly longitudinal development, which, along its longitudinal development, has a plurality of portions (8) with a larger section and has an annular end (7), with which to form a loop.
In particular, the portions (8) with a larger section have a substantially cylindrical conformation with rounded bases and the annular end (7) has a gap (9) of such dimensions as to allow the passage to interference with elastic deformation of said portions (8 ). The annular end (7) has a flat part (70) defining a handle to facilitate the insertion operation in the opening (9).
Furthermore, the tie (10) is provided with a head portion (5), opposite to said annular end (7), having a reduced section so as to make insertion into said opening (9) even easier and ending with a ball (6).
The tie can be made of plasticized PVC, with a variable percentage of rubber in relation to the desired degree of elasticity. This material provides good mechanical resistance and, at the same time, makes the tie elastically yielding, for the advantages described below.
Nelle Figg. In Figs. 3 and 4 show how to tie the stem (1) of the plant to the stake (2) with the tie (10) in question. With one hand the annular end (7) is grasped, while with the other hand the head portion (5), ending with the sphere (6), is inserted into the opening (9), according to the direction indicated by the arrow of Fig. 3. Once the head end (5) has passed the opening (9), the loop thus formed is tightened, as indicated by the arrow in Fig. 4. The fastening is thus completed.
Fig. 5 shows one of the advantages of the tie (10) in question. In fact, thanks to the material used and the sizing of the portions (8) and of the span (9), it is possible a spontaneous or manual loosening of the tie (10) following the growth of the stem of the plant (1). In particular, there may be a slight elastic deformation of the whole tie (10) so as to increase its circumference, or a sliding of a portion (8) through the opening (9), as indicated by the arrows in Fig. 5. This prevents damage to the plant, typical of the solutions of the known art, with which the circumference of the tie is kept fixed.
In practice, the details of execution may in any case vary in an equivalent manner in the shape, dimensions, arrangement of the elements, nature of the materials used without however departing from the scope of the innovative concept adopted and therefore remaining within the limits of the protection of this patent for utility model.
