L’oggetto è stato progettato con l'intento di creare un contenitore unico, adatto a contenere oggetti di forma tronco-conica come ad esempio vasi, bicchieri, ecc... E’ stato pensato allo scopo di velocizzare la fase di confezionamento al momento della vendita di piante in vaso che attualmente, in generale, consiste nell’awolgere con almeno due strati di carta ornamentale e relativo pinzaggio. L’oggetto si caratterizza per la sua forma estetica, per la semplicità d’uso, per la semplicità di produzione, per la versatilità nella scelta di elementi decorativi e del materiale (impermeabile o non) con cui è costruito. Nella trattazione successiva si utilizzerà la parola “vaso” per indicare qualunque altro contenuto di forma tronco-conica con varie destinazioni d’uso. La composizione del contenitore avviene attraverso la piegatura di un unico foglio discretamente rigido. Il prodotto finale è ottenuto senza l’uso di collanti o cuciture, ma sfruttando il particolare sistema di piegatura basato sulla linea curva.
