2. Clothesline according to claim 1, wherein the drying surface (2, 4) is supported by a plurality of vertical supports (16, 18) of the intermediate upright (14) which act on the support rods (10, 12) .

3. Clothesline according to claim 2, wherein the vertical supports (16, 18) are equal in number to the number of support rods (10, 12).
