CLAIMS 1. Lock assembly (1) for leaves (A) of panel doors, for example in glass, comprising: - a lock (2) comprising: a) a flat box (4) having opposite faces, suitable to be housed in a recess formed in the vertical free edge of the door; - a fixing plate (12) facing one of said faces of the box (4) and fixed to said box (4); in which the fixing plate (12) is fixed so as to maintain a play with said face of the case.

2. Assembly according to claim 1, comprising at least one spacer screw (14) suitable for crossing the thickness of the casing (4) and provided with a stop for screwing into the fixing plate so as to maintain said clearance.

3. Assembly according to claim 2, wherein said spacer screw (14) comprises a head (14a), a shank (14b) and a threaded foot (14c), said foot having a smaller diameter than the shank to make said abutment, in which the length of the shank is such as to maintain said clearance.

4. Assembly according to claim 2 or 3, comprising a spacer ring (16) for said spacer screw (14), inserted on the spacer screw, arranged between the fixing plate and the case, to adapt the length of the screw to the thickness of the door.

Group according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising: - a first lid (30) comprising a first cover plate (32) having an extension such as to cover the face of the box, and side walls (34) projecting from the plane of the plate, said lid being arranged so that the box is between said cover and said fixing plate; - first plate-cover fixing means for fixing the first cover (30) to the fixing plate (12).

Assembly according to claim 5 or 6, comprising - a second cover (40) comprising a second cover plate (42) having an extension such as to cover the face of the case, and side walls (44) projecting from the plane of the plate, said second lid being arranged so that the fixing plate is comprised between the casing (4) and the second lid; - second plate-cover fixing means for fixing the second cover (30) to the fixing plate (12).

Assembly according to claim 7, wherein the second plate-cover fastening means comprise an externally threaded fastening ring (50) inserted through the second fastening plate (429 and screwed into the fastening plate (12).

Assembly according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the lock (2) comprises: - a sheet (6) fixed to the thickness of the case (4).

Assembly according to any one of the preceding claims, comprising - a locking element (8), opening means for the handle operation of the locking element (8) and locking means for the key operation of the locking element (8); said opening means and said locking means being housed in the casing (4).
