Abstract
The treatment can be carried out according to two successive phases with the textile material to be treated immersed in the bath of a tank in a turbulence regime given by mechanical means that move the textile material or by a hydraulic pump operating on the bath. In the first treatment phase the textile material to be treated: 1) is immersed in the water of the tank at room temperature, 2) in the tank itself ferric chloride is introduced in an amount ranging from 2% or 10% on the weight of the textile material and the bath is heated to 60 ° for a duration ranging from 20 to 30 minutes, 3) the bath is drained from the tub and 4) rinsed with water. In the second treatment phase: 1) another bath is set up in the tank using water containing a solution of natural tannin in an amount ranging from 2% to 20% on the weight of the textile material, 2) the treatment bath is then brought to a temperature ranging from 88 ° to 98 ° for at least 30 minutes, and 3) the bath is discharged and the textile material removed. To maximize the tonal effect, the entire operating cycle can be repeated.
Description
: "TRATTA-MENTO DI SUPERFICIE A PERCEZIONE DI VETUSTA’PER TESSUTI". : "TREATMENT OF SURFACE AT THE PERCEPTION OF VETUSTA'S FOR FABRICS".
DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
The invention refers to a dyeing treatment to give the fabrics a visual perception of age, by means of the differentiated formation of their surface coloring, thus determining in a background with attenuated chromatisms the presence of streaks of greater intensity that comes to to realize, with respect to the current systems to achieve the same purpose, a plurality of advantages. The invention, aimed at satisfying specific needs of clothing fashion and the like, can be used in the finishing processes of fabrics and as a separate treatment for sheets, work pieces and garments in general. In a current system, the direct application of organic pigments to the fabric is envisaged, then proceeding, by means of successive washing processing steps in a turbulent regime, to the differentiated removal of the color. In another system, sulfur dyes are applied to the fabric and the color is removed by means of successive washing phases with the use of partridge stone or organic enzymes. In a further system, the fabric is subjected to dyeing treatment, in particular with the use of indigo, and then washing processes are carried out with the use of organic enzymes and with pumice stone. With respect to the aforesaid systems, the invention achieves a fundamental operational simplification since the treatment process is carried out with the use of a single tank operating means, a condition which significantly reduces the technical processing times. Furthermore, through the essential use of natural substances, it avoids environmental pollution and determines a reduction in the costs of the raw material for processing. In particular, by avoiding the use of the pumice stone in the washing system, it prevents damage to the machinery and, as already mentioned, damage to the environment due to pollution. While avoiding the use of organic enzymes, it allows a reduction in the costs of the materials to be used for the treatments and avoids the degrading action that they come to operate on the fabric. Basically, the system according to the invention can be carried out in two successive steps with the textile material to be treated immersed in the bath of a tub under turbulence given by mechanical means which move the textile material or by a hydraulic pump operating on the bath. , treatment phase, the textile material to be treated: 1) is immersed in the water of the tank at room temperature, 2) in the tank itself is introduced ferric chloride in a variable quantity from 2% to 10% on the weight of the textile material and the the bath is heated to a temperature of 60 ° for a duration varying from 20 to 30 minutes, 3) the bath is drained from the tub and 4) rinsed with water. In the second treatment phase: 1) another bath is set up in the tub with the use of water containing a natural tannin solution in a variable quantity from 2% to 20% of the weight of the textiles, 2) the treatment bath is then brought to a variable temperature from 88 ° to 98 ° for at least 30 minutes, and 3; the bath is unloaded and the textile material removed. To enhance the tonal effect, the entire operating cycle can be repeated. To enhance the tonal effect of the treatment, the textile material, at the end of the treatment, can be subjected to washing in a turbulent regime with the use of a detergent with the bath brought to a temperature ranging from 50 ° to 60 ° for a certain time. As an alternative to ferric chloride, in the first treatment phase, copper sulphate can be used in the tank in a quantity ranging from 2% to 10% of the textile material to be treated to achieve a different color effect. The treatment in order can be carried out in various ways with industrial machines and conventional laboratory means and in the context of the use of substances of various kinds and / or supplementary and combination means in relation to the specific operational requirements and needs of use.
