Abstract

Il poggiatesta 1 comprende un dispositivo di bloccaggio 3 conformante una coppia di ali o rebbi 5, 6 mutuamente collegati a entrambe le estremità, in modo da definire in corrispondenza di queste ultime una prima e una seconda sede trasversale 7, 8. A tali sedi trasversali 7, 8 sono associati rispettivi organi di articolazione allo stesso poggiatesta 1 e a un'asta 12 montata scorrevole in una idonea sede 13 dello schienale 2 della poltrona. Il dispositivo di bloccaggio 3 è dotato di un organo di comando pneumatico 14 atto a operare il serraggio dei detti rebbi 5, 6, in maniera da bloccare i citati organi di articolazione nelle rispettive sedi 7, 8.The headrest 1 comprises a locking device 3 forming a pair of wings or prongs 5, 6 mutually connected at both ends, so as to define in correspondence with the latter a first and a second transverse seat 7, 8. DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION

La presente innovazione si inquadra nel settore tecnico concernente la produzione di poltrone per uso odontoiatrico . The present innovation is part of the technical sector concerning the production of chairs for dental use.

E' noto che nel settore odontoiatrico vengono utilizzate poltrone ad assetto variabile, atte a facilitare gli interventi dello specialista nella cavità orale del paziente. In particolare, riveste notevole importanza la possibile movimentazione del poggiatesta rispetto allo schienale della poltrona. It is known that in the dental sector, chairs with variable structure are used, suitable to facilitate the interventions of the specialist in the oral cavity of the patient. In particular, the possible movement of the headrest with respect to the backrest of the chair is of considerable importance.

Infatti nelle poltrone dotate di poggiatesta vincolato rigidamente allo schienale, il paziente è costretto ad assumere posizioni anomale, durante le varie fasi dell'intervento. Ciò può essere causa di un notevole disagio, soprattutto negli interventi molto lunghi. In fact, in armchairs equipped with a headrest rigidly bound to the backrest, the patient is forced to assume abnormal positions during the various phases of the operation. B092U 000046, a nome della medesima Richiedente, prevede che il poggiatesta sia articolato allo schienale mediante organi di collegamento dotati di un elemento sferico, inserito in una corrispondente sede di un dispositivo di bloccaggio del poggiatesta stesso. Nella posizione di bloccaggio, i rebbi 5, 6 della forcella 4 sono serrati dall'azione esercitata dal pistone 17 dell'organo di comando 14 (fig.2a). In the locking position, the tines 5, 6 of the fork 4 are tightened by the action exerted by the piston 17 of the control member 14 (fig.2a).

Il pistone 17 è sollecitato infatti dalla pressione esistente all'interno della camera definita dalla camicia cilindrica 16, alimentata tramite il condotto 24. Gli spostamenti assiali del pistone 17 risultano invece relativamente limitati. In particolare lo sbloccaggio del poggiatesta 1 non richiede sforzo alcuno al medico, essendo attuato tramite il pulsante 26 dell'organo valvolare 25. Il comando pneumatico consente viceversa di regolare opportunamente la forza di serraggio del dispositivo di bloccaggio 3. E da notare inoltre che la camera cilindrica 16 dell'organo di comando 14 ha volume molto limitato, sicché il consumo di aria compressa risulta proporzionalmente limitato . In place of the pneumatic control device described above, for locking and unlocking the connecting members of the headrest to the backrest, hydraulic, electric or electromagnetic control members can be advantageously used.

Si intende che quanto sopra è stato descritto a titolo esemplificativo e non limitativo, per cui eventuali varianti costruttive si intendono rientranti nell'ambito protettivo della presente soluzione tecnica, come sopra descritta e nel seguito rivendicata. Claims

CLAIMS 1) Improved headrest, in particular for chairs for dental use, of the type comprising a locking device 3 forming a pair of wings or prongs 5, 6 mutually connected at both ends, so as to define a first and a second transverse seat 7, 8, to which respective articulation members are associated with the headrest 1 and with a rod 12 slidably mounted in a suitable seat 13 of a backrest 2 of the chair, headrest characterized in that said locking device 3 is provided of a control member 14 adapted to tighten said prongs 5, 6, so as to lock said articulation members in their respective seats 7, 8.

2) Headrest according to claim 1, characterized in that said control member is of the pneumatic type.

3) Headrest according to claim 2, characterized by the fact that said pneumatic control member 14 is fed through a duct 24 connected to a suitable compressed air delivery, intercepted by a two-way valve member 25, suitable to be operated via a button 26.

4) Headrest according to claim 3, characterized in that said button 26 is adapted to connect said control member 14 to the exhaust, so as to release the said articulation members in their respective seats 7, 8.

5) Headrest according to claim 2, characterized in that said pneumatic control member 14 has a body 15 constrained to a first prong 5 of said locking device. 3 and forming a cylindrical jacket 16, in which a piston 17 equipped with a rod 19 which is constrained to a second prong 6 of the same locking device 3 can slide sealingly.

6) Headrest according to claim 5, characterized in that said body 15 is constrained to said first prong 5 of the locking device 3 by means of a tubular shank 18 through which said rod 19 of piston 17 is inserted passing through free, it is bound to said second prong 6.

7) Headrest according to claim l. characterized in that said control member is of the hydraulic type.

8) Headrest according to claim l. characterized in that said control member is of the electric type.

9) Headrest according to claim 1, characterized in that said control member is of the electromagnetic type.
