The present invention relates to a pack of smoking articles with sliding opening and hinged lid.

In the following description, reference will be made, for the sake of brevity, to a packet of cigarettes with sliding opening and hinged lid without the present invention having to lose generality.

ANTERIOR ART

Rigid cigarette packets with hinged lid are the most popular cigarette packets currently on the market as they are simple to make, are easy and practical to use and offer good mechanical protection to the cigarettes contained inside.

In addition to the above described rigid cigarette packets with hinged lid, rigid cigarette packets with sliding (or sliding) opening have been proposed comprising two containers inserted one inside the other in a partially separable way. In other words, a rigid packet of cigarettes with sliding opening comprises an internal container, which is adapted to accommodate a group of cigarettes wrapped in a sheet of metallic paper wrapping and is housed inside an external container. so as to be able to slide with respect to the external container itself between a closed configuration, in which the internal container is inserted inside the external container, and an open configuration, in which the internal container is extracted from the external container. A rigid packet of cigarettes with sliding opening and hinged lid has also been proposed, in which the inner container is provided with a hinged lid to rotate between a closed position and an open position of an open upper end. The lid of the internal container has a connecting tab which is integral with the lid at one end and is integral with the eternal container at the opposite end to control â € œautomaticallyâ € (ie without the user having to touch the lid ) rotation of the lid by sliding the internal container with respect to the external container. PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION In Figures 1, 2 and 3, the number 1 indicates, as a whole, a rigid cigarette packet with sliding opening by translation (linear movement).

The pack 1 of cigarettes illustrated in Figure 1 comprises a group 2 of wrapped cigarettes (schematically visible in Figures 2 and 3), ie a group of cigarettes wrapped in a sheet of metallized paper wrapping. Furthermore, the pack 1 of cigarettes comprises an internal container 3 of a rigid type, inside which the wrapped group 2 is directly placed, and an external container 4 of a rigid type, which slides the internal container 3 into place. to allow the inner container 3 itself to slide with respect to the outer container 4 to move with a translation movement between a closed configuration (illustrated in figure 1), in which the inner container 3 is completely inserted inside the outer container 4 , and an open configuration (illustrated in Figures 2 and 3), in which the internal container 3 is partially extracted from the external container 4 so as to make it possible to access the group 2 of wrapped cigarettes.

According to what is better illustrated in Figure 4, the internal container 3 has a parallelepiped shape with an equilateral triangular section, is cup-shaped and has an open upper end 5. The internal container 3 comprises a lid 6, which is cup-shaped and is hinged to the internal container 3 along a hinge 7 to rotate, with respect to the internal container 3 itself, between an opening position (illustrated in figures 2, 3 and 4) and a closed position (shown in Figure 1) of the open upper end 5.

The internal container 3 has a parallelepiped shape with an equilateral triangular section and has a lower wall 8 opposite the open upper end 5, and three walls 9 and 10 forming three angles of 120 ° to each other; in particular, there is a rear wall 9 in which the hinge 7 of the lid 6 is formed and two front walls 10. Three longitudinal edges are defined between the walls 9 and 10, while three transverse edges are defined between the walls 9 and 10 and the lower wall 8.

The lid 6 is cup-shaped, has a parallelepiped shape with an equilateral triangular section and has an upper wall 11 (which, when the lid 6 is in the closed position, is parallel and opposite to the lower wall 8 of the container 3 internal) and three walls 12 and 13 forming three angles of 120 ° to each other; in particular, there is a rear wall 12 in which the hinge 7 of the lid 6 is formed and two front walls 13. Three longitudinal edges are defined between the walls 12 and 13, while three transverse edges are defined between the walls 12 and 13 and the upper wall 11.

The internal container 3 is provided with a rigid collar 14 (i.e. made of cardboard or rigid cardboard), which is connected (by gluing) folded to â € œUâ € inside the internal container 3 to partially protrude inside External of the open upper end 5 and engage a corresponding internal surface of the cover 6 when the cover 6 itself is disposed in the closed position. Three longitudinal edges are defined between the walls 17 and 18, while three transverse edges are defined between the walls 17 and 18 and the lower wall 15.

According to a preferred, but not binding, embodiment illustrated in the attached figures, the three longitudinal edges of the internal container 3, the three longitudinal edges of the lid 6, and the three longitudinal edges of the external container 4 are of the rounded type; according to an alternative embodiment not shown, the three longitudinal edges of the internal container 3, the three longitudinal edges of the lid 6, and the three longitudinal edges of the external container 4 are of the straight type.

Due to the sliding of the connecting tab 20 inside the window 25, the lower edge 27 of the appendix 26 progressively approaches the lower edge 28 of the window 25 until it reaches a limit position or of maximum opening (illustrated in figure 7) in which the lower edge 27 of the appendix 26 rests on the lower edge 28 of the window 25. The containers 3 and 4 of the pack 1 of cigarettes illustrated in Figures 1-7 are obtained starting from corresponding blanks 29 and, respectively, 30 illustrated in Figures 9 and 10. Each of the blanks 29 and 30 includes, among other things, a plurality of panels, which will be marked, where possible, with accented reference numbers equal to the reference numbers which distinguish the corresponding walls of the respective container 3 and 4.

With reference to Figure 9, the blank 29 has two transversal weakening lines 31 and a plurality of groups of longitudinal weakening lines 32, which define, between the two transversal weakening lines 31, a panel 9â € ™ -12â € ™ which constitutes an internal portion of the rear wall 9 of the internal container 3 and an internal portion of the rear wall 12 of the lid 6, a panel 10â € ™ -13â € ™ which constitutes a front wall 10 of the internal container 3 and a front wall 13 of the cover 6, a panel 10â € -13â € which constitutes the other front wall 10 of the internal container 3 and the other front wall 13 of the cover 6, and a panel 9â € -12â € which constitutes an external portion of the wall 9 rear of the internal container 3 and an external portion of the rear wall 12 of the lid 6.
