Description

Brevetto per Invenzione Industriale dal titolo METODO DI ELIMINAZIONE EMULSIONI ED IMMAGINI RESIDUE DA MATRICE DI STAMPA SERIGRAFICA”. Patent for Industrial Invention entitled METHOD OF ELIMINATION OF EMULSIONS AND RESIDUAL IMAGES FROM SCREEN PRINTING MATRIX ".

DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION

The invention concerns a new and original method for the elimination of the emulsions of the inks present on and between the meshes of the fabric of a screen printing or screen printing matrix in order to recover the screen printing frame. Currently, the screen printing matrices are cleaned of emulsions and inks coated on the fabric, with the use of chemical products of an oxidizing nature, both in liquid and pasty form, which are applied to produce the screen printing process. These products are distributed over the screen printing frame fabric and left to act from a few seconds to several minutes, as needed, until the residual emulsions and inks show signs of softening. Then the screen printing matrix is rinsed with a water jet, often at high pressure, to remove the emulsion and ink from the fabric. Finally, to eliminate residual ink and emulsion stains, liquid or pasty mixtures variously composed with solvents, caustic products, surfactants, chlorine and other detergents are applied again. These mixtures are left to act from a few seconds to several minutes depending on the difficulty of the residue to be removed. The screen printing frame fabric is then rinsed again with a water jet, even at high pressure. The operational steps described can be implemented both manually and automatically. The use of chemicals used for the recovery of the silk screen printing matrix fabric, sometimes in large quantities, entails obligations of disposal and adequate treatment of waste water. Furthermore, the use of powerful water jets on the surfaces of the silk-screen printing matrices for the rinsing phases, in addition to increasing disposal costs due to the large quantities of water used, produces strong acoustic pollution in the environments where the screen printing matrices themselves are rinsed. In fact, the jet of rinse water on the surfaces of the printing matrices generates, by hitting the fabric, vibrations that produce a high intensity noise. The method found to eliminate emulsions and residual images from the fabric of the silk-screen printing matrix allows to overcome the aforementioned disadvantages, by operating with a bath of the silk-screen printing matrix in an ultrasonic tank with chemicals of known use but significantly reduced in quantity. and concentration. Therefore, in addition to having a lower consumption of polluting chemical substances, lower quantities of products to be disposed of and a lower consumption of water, the method object of the result allows a deeper cleaning of the fabric of the frame of the screen printing matrices, eliminating residual images, which in the processes currently in use they often remain due to the incomplete cleaning of the fabric wefts. In a preferred but not exclusive embodiment, the method of eliminating emulsions and inks from the fabric of the silk-screen printing matrix according to the result involves the operating steps described in detail below: 1. cleaning bath: consisting of immersion of the printing matrix , with a water bath at a temperature between 10 ° C and 90 ° C, containing in small quantities the known chemical agents, such as oxidants, solvents, caustic products, surfactants, chlorine and other detergents suitable for removing emulsions, inks and respective residual images. 2. rinsing bath: consisting of immersion of the silk-screen printing matrix in an ultrasonic tank, with a water bath at a temperature between 10 ° C and 90 ° C, to completely remove the residues of the substances trapped in the fibers of the matrix fabric screen printing after the previous bath. 3. thorough cleaning bath: consisting in the possible immersion of the silk-screen printing matrix in an ultrasonic tank, with a bath in water at a temperature between 10 ° C and 90 ° C, containing in small quantities the known chemical agents, such as solvents, caustics, surfactants and other detergents suitable for removing traces of emulsions, inks and particularly stubborn residual images not removed with the first bath. In this case, the rinsing bath must be repeated. The operating steps can be carried out in partial form, such as for example a single cleaning bath or carried out in repeated series according to what is to be removed from the silk-screen printing matrix. The method object of the result is susceptible of numerous modifications and variations, all falling within the scope of the inventive concept. Furthermore, all the details can be replaced by other technically equivalent ones in the field of protection established by the attached claims
