In determinate applicazioni tecniche è necessario disporre di utensili quali martelli, mazzette, mazzuoli e simili, particolarmente indicati ad assestare colpi su oggetti o superfici relativamente delicate senza correre in rischio di danneggiarle. Il modo di impiego della protezione paracolpi secondo il trovato è intuitivo. Una volta fissata lungo il manico 3 del martello 2, essa consente di impiegare quest’ultimo sia come martello tradizionale, come illustrato in figura 2 (la capsula 6 è, in questa configurazione, posizionata di lato in modo da non interferire con l’esecuzione corretta dei colpi), sia come martello ad effetto ammortizzante (figura 1), semplicemente afferrando la capsula 6 ed inserendola, a pressione, sulla testa 4 in corrispondenza della superficie battente 5, così da ricoprirla portando a contatto, con quest’ultima, la porzione piana 8. L’elastica flessibilità del ponticello 11 consente di eseguire tale operazione in modo agevole e rapido. The method of use of the bumper protection according to the invention is intuitive. Claims

CLAIMS 1. Universal bumper protection, particularly for hammers, mallets and the like, characterized in that it is constituted by a capsule made of a substantially elastic yielding material capable of removably covering the striking surface of said hammer and provided with fixing means to the handle of said hammer.

2. Protection according to claim 1, characterized in that said fastening means consist of at least one thin elastic ring suitable to be inserted along the handle of said hammer, connected to said capsule by means of at least one substantially elastically flexible bridge.

3. Protection according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said elastic ring is affected, in correspondence with said bridge, by a substantially radial notch adapted to allow elastic circumferential expansion of said ring in insertion along the lower portion of said handle, and also to allow the elastic circumferential contraction thereof in such a way as to be held in correspondence with the upper portion of said handle.

4. Protection according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that said capsule has a substantially circular cross-section.

5. Protection according to one or more of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that said capsule has a substantially elliptical cross section.

6. Protection according to one or more of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that said capsule has a substantially square cross section.

7. Protection according to one or more of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that said capsule has a substantially rectangular cross section.

8. Protection according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is made of a material of the rubber type.

Protection according to one or more of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that it is made of plastic-type material.

10. Universal bumper protection, particularly for hammers, mallets and the like according to one or more of the preceding claims and according to what is described and illustrated for the specified purposes.
