Description
Barbell (Semi-Bar) for physical exercise presenting a semicircular, semi-rectangular or semi-square or semi-hexagonal shape with lateral spikes for overload and handles to lift it from both sides. The Semì-Bar allows you to perform a wide range of exercises with less strain on the back and without weighing on the nape of the person using it.
DESCRIZIONE DESCRIPTION
Annessa a domanda di brevetto per INVENZIONE INDUSTRIALE avente per titolo: Attached to a patent application for INDUSTRIAL INVENTION entitled:
“SEMI-BAR” "SEMI-BAR"
The present invention (Semi-Bar) refers to a bar for physical exercise and, more particularly, to an advantageously semi-circular shaped barbell for overloading. In other alternative embodiments, the invention has an angular or semi-square half-mesh conformation. As known, the barbell is a tool widely used in gyms, both for weight lifting, bodybuilding, fitness as well as athletic training for various sports (football, basketball, etc.). More specifically, it is a steel bar, of different length and weight depending on the models and the type of exercise to be carried out, which can be loaded at its ends by cast iron discs (weights) and fixed by means of iron clips, used for exercise a multitude of muscles including trapezius, front and / or rear shoulders, pectorals, biceps, triceps and leg muscles. Through proper use. a correct balance of weights and a correct grip, it is possible to develop (depending on the method of use and the position adopted during the exercise) these muscles. Given the wide range of applications, the barbell is a widely used tool also for "home" use, that is, many people who care about their physical shape, but without going to the gym, have a barbell for training in their home. For more experienced users, the barbell is one of the most used and most appreciated tools precisely for its versatility of use and for the wide range of muscles that can be trained. As is also known, to lift traditional bars or barbells to perform certain exercises such as the "Squat". It is necessary to place them on the trapezes or on the nape of the neck, with consequent greater effort and therefore possible damage to the back. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a tool safer and more versatile than traditional bars, allowing not only a safe vertical flexion movement, but also a monopodalic / unilateral movement (ie when the body rests its weight mainly on one leg). More particularly, the aim of the present invention is that of allowing those who use it to train the legs alternately, positioning one more forward than the other, thus carrying the overload on the front leg, advantageously without weighing on the nape of the neck. These and other purposes are substantially achieved by a barbell as described in the annexes Claims Additional features and benefits will appear in May by a preferred but non-limiting embodiment of a rocker shown in the accompanying figure.
