DESCRIZIONE ANTERIORE DELLA TECNICA FRONT DESCRIPTION OF THE ART
Sommario- Introduzione Summary - Introduction
Information Legends are often placed near Monuments, Historic Palaces, Churches, Cathedrals, etc. These report important historical information and comments regarding the Monument in question. How much reported? often written in different languages, chosen according to the typical typology of the tourist who visits these monuments. Until a few years ago, these Legends were built on a plastic base so, following the IR, UV, VIS (InfraRosse - UltraViolette and Visible) radiations, coming from the Sun, together with the effects produced by rain and other atmospheric contaminants, the same Legends had a very low average life cycle and, the colors? of the Writings, Drawings and Photos easily faded and / or discolored. Nowadays these problems have been positively solved, with the design and subsequent construction of a new panel. This new product, patented with the ri. 00070298. ? it was then sold for use and application in Italy. This latest company? manages the National Cultural Heritage Communication Plan for the whole Italian territory.

UN PROCESSO INNOVATIVO DI RIMOZIONE SUPERFICIALE TRAMITE LASER AN INNOVATIVE PROCESS OF SURFACE REMOVAL BY LASER
, essendo state imbrattate, necessitino di accurata manutenzione. I risultati ottenuti e , visualizzabili sempre nell? All of the above? was considered necessary and indispensable in order to think and study a possible and correct solution for the cleaning of this type of Legende, when? , having been soiled, they require careful maintenance. The problem exists when some vandal and unconscious person produce various writings, graffiti and drawings on the surface of the panels. Some inks are actually easily removable through the use of soapy water with natural soaps, not very aggressive. Other types of inks and paints and varnishes need to be treated differently, that is, for example, with a cotton ball soaked in denatured alcohol (ethanol) and, at other times, with a chemical solvent, for example, Acetone . On the other hand, in many other cases, none of the aforementioned methods of surface cleaning have solved the problem. indelible, fluorescent, permanent, water insoluble inks were to be removed; moreover, the same, as a result of their assured and praised characteristics of gripping and stability, had been able to penetrate into the glass substrate of the panel, anchoring themselves strongly to it. This difficult problem, difficult to solve, after having been studied under the aegis of various theoretical-experimental approaches, has seen a possible solution mature with the application and fusion of different types of portable lasers, which can be set up on site. In light of this, the Laser pi? appropriate? looked like a Nd - YAG, as it emits an IR Radiation, a? 1,064 nm (nanometers), which is not? absorbed by the glass surface (substrate) of the panel, resulting almost totally transparent at said wavelength. In this way the optical radiation of the laser can? ablate (remove by vaporization) these difficult and particular Inks - Varnishes and Paints, penetrated and anchored to the same glass surface within its thickness, for a depth of of a few tens of pm (microns). After some preliminary tests, following a mapping of the Degradation,? An Innovative Process of Surface Removal of GRAFFITI and WRITINGS from the informative LEGENDS was developed and used, through a Nd-YAG Laser and a special coating. This new method and process, under the supervision of? Superintendence for Architectural Heritage and Landscape of Puglia ?, was approved for use on these Legends. This Technique employs both the Daurelio Technique n.l and the Daurelio Technique n.3 (*). according to the needs? and the type of graffiti-writing-drawing to be removed. Said two techniques (developed and used by the same Author of this Patent) employ a laser beam of a pulsed Nd-YAG at ns (nanosecond), which use, instead of a Convergent Focusing Lens, of the plane-convex type , a Cylindrical Lens (Plane-Convex or Concave-Convex) which transforms the geometry of the Beam entering on it from CIRCULAR to RECTANGULAR (Knife Blade - in Focus or in different Rectangular Areas, depending on the different degrees of De-Focusing of the Laser Beam) coming out of it (Daurelio Technique n.l). If, to all of the above, we add the use of the Daurelio Technique n.3 (*). which consists in the application of a very thin layer (thickness from 20 to 30 microns or a little more?) of Colloidal Graphite (sprayed with a common Spray Can) or common Graphite of a pencil or lead, with the initials B, 2B, 3B, 4B or higher (that is, of very low Hardness, therefore very soft), of a gray-black-brilliant color, which covers the Graffito, the Writing, the Drawing, which did not come away with the use of all the other techniques, now finally they can be completely removed from the glass surface of the LEGEND-Panel, without damaging the surface of the same. An example of the use of this new Technique, applied to the Legends sector,? reported in the DRAWINGS Attachment, in the TAW. from I / VII to VII / VII. The results obtained on 2 Legends are shown, exhibited in the archaeological site of DOLMEN di BISCEGLIE (BAT). A Legend? a Glass substrate (MIRABILIA), the other? a Plastic Substrate (with inscriptions. in the province VISITED. PROVINCE of BARI). The results obtained can always be viewed in the TAW Drawings Attachment. from I / VII to VII / VII, are excellent on the MIRABILIA Legends and a bit? less excellent, even if acceptable, on the other type of plastic-based Legend.
