SISTEMA IN GRADO DI PRODURRE ENERGIA ELETTRICA SYSTEM ABLE TO PRODUCE ELECTRICITY

DESCRIZIONE DELL’INVENZIONE DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

A) Reasons, aims and prior state of the technique

The present invention proposes to realize an innovative system (1), to be installed in swimming pools, capable of producing electricity by exploiting and transforming the kinetic energy of the mass of water which, during its continuous circulation inside the system of every type and model of swimming pool, it performs height jumps during its final treatment and filtration path, a path that takes place in the so-called machine room of the pool itself, being usually positioned, called the machine room, at a lower level than the surface of the pool (water surface).

At the current state of the art, there are no similar, known and / or commercially available systems.

B) Descrizione e funzionamento B) Description and operation

The present invention (see figures 1 and 2) aims to create an innovative system (1) to be installed in swimming pools, capable of producing electricity by exploiting and transforming the kinetic energy of the mass of water which, during its continuous " circulation "inside the system of each type and model of swimming pool, performs height jumps, during its final treatment and filtration path, a path that takes place in the so-called machine room of the pool itself, being usually positioned, called machine room, at a lower level than the surface of the pool (i.e. with respect to the so-called water surface).

The mass of water that overflows (escapes) continuously from the edges or side walls (equipped with special openings / holes for water overflow) of the pool is then preferably conveyed, through a special collection channel (22), into a tank / storage tank (21), positioned at a lower level than the water surface of said pool (2). The system (1) comprises at least one special turbine (11) consisting mainly of an electric current generator (111) and a rotation shaft (112) connected with three or more blades (113). The turbine (11), preferably also equipped with a water inlet (114) and a water outlet (115) (see figure 1), is positioned "downstream" of the outlet of the channel collection (22), thus obtaining that the high flow rate and energy of the water, leaving said channel (22), hits / impacts violently with the blades (113) of the turbine (11) (positioned at the outlet of said collection channel (22)) by making them rotate quickly (with said blades (113) the rotation shaft (112) of the generator (111) will also rotate integrally), thus producing a certain amount of electrical energy by means of said electric generator (111).

The "alternating" electric current, produced by the system (1), can also be transformed into "direct" current, or rectified by means of a special rectifier circuit, preferably composed of a diode bridge or similar electronic circuit, and then accumulated in special accumulators , preferably composed of batteries and / or special capacitors.

The electricity produced can then be used for the operation of the pool itself, or to power its electrical equipment and components (motors, pumps, lighting, etc.), or even for other purposes.

The electricity produced can be controlled by means of special electric management and control modules which, depending on the future use of the energy produced, are preferably composed of controllers, regulators, any inverters, transformers, diode bridge rectifiers, accumulators and so on.

The turbine (11) can be equipped with a water inlet (114) and a water outlet (115); the inlet (114) will preferably have the duct initially wider and then gradually narrow (such as funnel, cone, etc.) so as to increase the speed of impact of the water conveyed against the blades (113) and therefore increase the speed of rotation of the shaft (112) of the turbine (11), thereby obtaining a greater production of electrical energy.

“skimmer”). Obviously, the system (1) can be used in all pool models, even in those that are not equipped with an accumulation tank / tank (21) (such as, for example, pool models equipped with a so-called "skimmer").
