Abstract

An industrial sewing machine comprises at least two driven shafts (4,5) which are rotatively driven in a timed manner, on one of these shafts (4) being keyed cam members (8,16,44,51) for reciprocately driving in a horizontal plane one or more needle bars (13), as well as grippers for feeding with fabric operating hook elements, the other driven shaft (5) operating a vertically displaceable needle bar (69) arranged downstream of the first mentioned needle bars, the spacing of the needle bars being so designed that the needles (15) supported thereby can make simultaneously rectilinear, curved and broken seaming lines. <IMAGE>

Trattasi di una macchina da cucire a struttura perfezionata, per uso industriale, particolarmente studiata per consentire l'esecuzione simultanea di piu' cuciture, di tipo differenziato. L’oggetto del presente trovato e’ costituito da una macchina da cucire, per uso industriale, a struttura perfezionata, atta a permettere l’esecuzione simultanea di piu’ cuciture, di tipo differenziato. Come e’ noto, nell’industria delle confezioni si rende solitamente necessaria l'esecuzione di piu' cuciture, le quali possono essere del tipo a punto catenella, od a sopraggitto, od annodato, od ornamento, con o senza copertura. E' altrettanto noto che tali tipi fondamentali di cucitura debbbono, sovente, essere eseguiti, anche in differenti combinazioni, su una determinata porzione di un unico capo di abbigliamento. Nell'ambito del compito precitato, uno scopo particolare del presente trovato e' quello di realizzare una macchina da cucire, per uso industriale, la quale sia suscettibile di effettuare, in successione, cuciture in senso orizzontale ed in senso verticale. Il suddetto compito, nonché' gli scopi sopra accennati ed altri, che potranno, eventualmente, apparire meglio evidenziati in seguito, vengono conseguiti da una macchina da cucire, per uso industriale, secondo il trovato, caratterizzata dal fatto di comprendere, essenzialmente, due alberi condotti, aventi un movimento rotatorio sincronizzato, su uno dei quali sono montati degli eccentrici, suscettibili, tramite opportuni organi meccanici, di conferire dei movimenti di oscillazione, convenientemente coordinati, ad una o piu' barre d'ago, traslanti in un piano orizzontale, nonché' a delle corrispondenti griffe, di trasporto del tessuto, ed ai relativi crochet, mentre l'altro albero condotto risulta in grado di azionare, per mezzo di una trasmissione cinematica, di tipo peraltro tradizionale, una barra d'ago traslante in un piano verticale e posta a valle delle barre d'ago precitate; tali barre d'ago risultando molto ravvicinate, in modo da poter eseguire piu' cuciture simultanee, in direzione sia rettilinea, sia curvilinea, sia secondo una linea spezzata. Ovviamente, tale macchina da cucire e' stata precedentemente descritta ed illustrata a puro titolo di esempio indicativo, ma non limitativo, ed al solo scopo di dimostrazione della pratica attuabilità' e delle caratteristiche generali della presente Invenzione, per cui, alla stessa, potranno essere apportate tutte quelle varianti e modifiche alla portata di un esperto del ramo e suscettibili di rientrare nell'ambito dei concetti innovativi sopra esposti. Obviously, this sewing machine has been previously described and illustrated purely by way of indicative, but not limiting example, and for the sole purpose of demonstrating the practical feasibility and general characteristics of the present invention, therefore, made all those variations and modifications within the reach of a person skilled in the art and capable of falling within the scope of the innovative concepts described above.

Claims

CLAIMS 1} Sewing machine with improved structure, for industrial use, characterized by the fact of essentially comprising two driven shafts, having a synchronized rotary movement, on one of which eccentrics are mounted, which, by means of suitable mechanical elements, can impart oscillation movements, conveniently coordinated, to one or more needle bars, translating in a horizontal plane, as well as to the corresponding jaws, for transporting the fabric, and to the relative hooks, while the other driven shaft is able to operating, by means of a kinematic transmission, of the traditional type, a needle bar translating in a vertical plane and located downstream of the aforementioned needle bars; these needle bars are very close together, so as to be able to perform more simultaneous seams, both in a straight, curved direction and along a broken line.

2) Sewing machine, as in the previous claim, characterized by the fact of comprising a frame, suitably structured, supporting a main shaft, moved by a special electric motor, on which at least two pulleys are keyed, capable of transmitting a rotary motion to as many driven shafts, by means of corresponding belts; these driven shafts, respectively, actuating one or more needles moving in a horizontal plane and a needle or more needing moving according to a vertical axis, being able also to be rotated by differentiated motion sources, but being, in any case, synchronized.

3) Sewing machine, as per one or more preceding claims, characterized by the fact that one of the aforesaid driven shafts carries a first eccentric, which, by means of a connecting rod, a ball joint and a sleeve with an oscillating pin, activates a lever, to control one or more needle bars; the latter move in a horizontal plane, with angular arrangement also differentiated, and carry, by means of special clamps, as many needles, which can be excluded individually from each other.

4) Sewing machine, as per one or more preceding claims, characterized by the fact that, on the aforementioned driven shaft, a second eccentric is keyed, which, by means of a connecting rod, a ball joint, a sleeve and a pin oscillating, it controls a trimming knife, carried by an arm having a suitable development.

5) Sewing machine, as per one or more preceding claims, characterized by the fact that, on the aforementioned driven shaft, a third eccentric is fixed, which, by means of a connecting rod, a ball joint and a sleeve, moves a first pin oscillating, which, by means of a lever, in turn moves a second oscillating pin; these pins, in particular, carry as many eccentrics, capable of imparting a coordinated movement to the jaw-carrying slides.

6) Sewing machine, as in the preceding claim, characterized by the fact that, of the aforesaid slides, one carries a jaw, having the function of making the fabric advance, before the needle, or of the aforementioned needles, conveying it towards them, while the other slide supports a jaw which is used to transport the fabric beyond the needles themselves.

7) Sewing machine, as per one or more preceding claims, characterized by the fact that an eccentric "stretch point" is mounted on the aforesaid driven shaft, which, by means of a connecting rod, a ball joint and a sleeve, acts on a oscillating pin, capable of controlling the alternating movement of two levers, provided with control pins; the latter act, in turn, on the aforementioned jaw-carrying slides, making them advance in contact with the fabric and retract in the lowered position, also due to the cooperative effect of the aforementioned eccentrics.

8) Sewing machine, as per one or more preceding claims, characterized by the fact that, on the aforesaid driven shaft, an eccentric is provided, capable of moving, through a connecting rod and a ball joint, a sleeve, binding an oscillating pin , on which a lever is keyed, carrying a first hook, susceptible to reciprocating rotary motion.

9) Sewing machine, as per one or more preceding claims, characterized by the fact that, on said driven shaft, an eccentric is keyed, which, by means of a connecting rod, a ball joint and a sleeve, acts on an oscillating pin, to which a lever is integral, bearing an articulated arm; the latter is slidingly bound to a joint capable of oscillating and carries, at the free end, a second hook.

10) Sewing machine, as per one or more preceding claims, characterized by the fact that, with the aforesaid jaws, a needle plate cooperates, on which it is capable of pressing a foot, mounted on a lever, pivoted on a rod elastically stressed by a spring device, suitably adjustable; downstream of the same jaws, guides are arranged, mounted on a support and designed to convey the two edges of fabric, previously sewn, in correspondence with the side edges, by means of the needle, or needles, horizontal, below a subsequent needle or needles, moving along a vertical axis and capable of performing a re-stitching seam.

11) Sewing machine, as per one or more preceding claims, characterized by the fact that the aforementioned vertical needle or needles are mounted on its own needle bar, moved in reciprocating motion by the aforementioned second driven shaft, by means of a suitable transmission kinematics, moreover of a known type; with the same needle or vertical needles, a small foot cooperates, pressing on a horizontal plate, a hook, moved by the same driven shaft, by means of suitable moving members, as well as the corresponding jaws.

12) Sewing machine, as per one or more previous claims, characterized by the fact that the parts that constitute it can be incorporated into a single machine or can be enclosed in several machine bodies, linked together and connected to a single shaft command.

13) Sewing machine with improved structure, for industrial use, as per the preceding claims, all of which, in substance, as more fully described and illustrated in the previous report and in the various figures of the attached drawings, which form an integral part of the present application for Patent for Industrial Invention.
