DESCRIPTION of the industrial utility model entitled: "Heat exchanger, in particular evaporator for refrigeration circuits."
TESTO DELLA DESCRIZIONE TEXT OF THE DESCRIPTION
The invention relates to heat exchangers, in particular to evaporators for refrigeration circuits comprising at least one sheet, on which one or more tubes are fixed, in particular at least one coil tube, or the like.
The invention is based on the problem of realizing a heat exchanger of the aforesaid type in such a way as to obtain, with a few operating steps and with a limited economic expenditure, a product with surfaces such that it can be mounted directly in the circuits for which it is intended or it can be be passed directly to the subsequent painting phase, or the like.
In heat exchangers of the aforesaid type, in order to keep the heat exchange high, it is of fundamental importance that the fixing of the tube (s) to the sheet metal ensures a high coefficient of thermal transmission between them. For this purpose, currently the tube or tubes are fixed to the metal sheet, by stapling or by using tapes of different mono or double-sided adhesive materials. If the fixing is obtained by brazing, after the fixing phase, to obtain a clean product it is necessary to subject the exchanger to a pickling and finishing phase, before it can be used directly or sent for painting. All the methods mentioned above present operational difficulties.
The invention solves the aforesaid problem with a heat exchanger of the type described at the beginning, in which the tubes or the serpentine tube are fixed to the sheet metal by ultrasonic welding.
Advantageously, the tubes or the serpentine tube can be made of aluminized steel or aluminum and the sheet can also be made of aluminum or aluminized steel.
Thanks to the device according to the invention, the connection between the tubes or the serpentine tube and the sheet metal takes place between the surface layer of aluminum or the aluminum coating which, subject to the action of ultrasounds, interpenetrate each other. The sheet metal and the tubes to be fixed on it are not subjected to the action of a traditional heat source, such as for example heating in an oven, or by means of traditional welding or brazing systems, the heating action of which affects a large part of the exchanger, are therefore free from slag that are usually produced. The use of an ultrasonic welding device avoids these drawbacks and also keeps the melting zone extremely limited as regards its extension, in particular transversely to the pipes or tubes. In the corner areas between the tube and the sheet, the accumulation of molten material is greatly reduced. The product thus obtained is completely free from slag or stains due to heating and flows and appears in the welding areas between the tubes and the sheet with well-defined and clean surfaces, while the coefficient of thermal transmission between the tube or tubes and sheet however, it remains of optimal size, guaranteeing perfect functionality of the exchanger. Thanks to the device according to the invention, therefore, the exchanger thus constructed does not have to be subjected to further cleaning and surface finishing treatments and can be either used directly or sent to a subsequent phase, for example painting.
The characteristics and advantages of the invention will become clearer from the following description of an executive example illustrated in the attached drawings, in which:
Fig. 1 shows a heat exchanger according to the invention, with a serpentine tube.
Fig. 2, shows a cross section through a branch of the serpentine tube fixed to the sheet, both being made of aluminum.
La fig. 3 è un'illustrazione analoga alla fig. 2, con il tubo realizzato in acciaio alluminato. Fig. 3 is an illustration similar to fig. 2, with the tube made of aluminized steel.
In fig. 1, 1 indicates the coil tube of a heat exchanger in the form of an evaporator for refrigerators. 2 indicates the sheet metal, to which said tube 1 must be fixed. The refrigerant fluid passes through the tube 1 and acts as a primary surface, while the sheet 2 acts as a secondary surface for heat exchange with the environment to be cooled.
A fixing connection must therefore be obtained between the pipe 1 and the sheet metal 2 which ensures the maximum possible coefficient of thermal transmission. For this purpose, the sheet 2 and the tube 1 can both be made entirely of aluminum (see Fig. 2) or, one or both of them can be made of aluminized steel. In the example according to fig. 3, the tube 1 is made of aluminized steel and has a steel core 101 provided with an aluminum coating 201.
The aluminum or aluminized steel tube 1 is then fixed to the aluminum or aluminized steel sheet 2 by welding, or more precisely, causing a reciprocal interpenetration in the contact area of the tube 1 with the sheet 2, in the first case of an aluminum surface layer of the sheet 2 and of the tube 1, in the second case of an aluminum surface layer of the sheet 2 and of the aluminum coating 101 of the aluminized steel tube 1.
According to the invention, the aforementioned fusion is advantageously obtained thanks to an ultrasonic welding device. This guarantees on the one hand the advantage of limiting the extension of the heating zone substantially to a very narrow band along the contact area between the tube 1 and the sheet 2 (figs. 2 and 3) and on the other hand of avoiding the deposit. of slag on the exchanger and its consequent soiling, as in the case of the usual welding devices. The ultrasonic welding head can in fact be made to adhere with the due force against the side of the sheet 2 opposite the fixing side of the tube 1, along the straight and mutually parallel branches thereof. The heat exchanger thus manufactured has a great cleanliness and a great precision of the welding areas.
With the ultrasonic welding of the tube 1 to the sheet 2, a finished product is thus obtained which can be directly used and subjected to any operational stages of packaging for sale or painting. Thanks to the interpenetration of the surface layer or the aluminum coating 101 of the pipe 1 with the aluminum surface layer of the sheet 2, the thermal transmission coefficient does not undergo any reduction, remaining at the maximum levels to ensure an effective heat exchange efficiency between tube 1 and sheet 2.
Naturally, the invention can comprise models which achieve equal utility, using the same innovative concept.
